On the morning of June 3, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister chaired the regular Government meeting in May 6 online with localities.
The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee attended the meeting at Thai Binh Bridge.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Deputy Prime Minister and leaders of central ministries, departments and agencies. At the bridge point of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee, there were Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; co-members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing 6 topics: socio-economic situation in May and first 5 months of 5; implementation of the program on socio-economic recovery and development; allocation and disbursement of public investment capital; implementation of national target programs; the results of the implementation of the planning work in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Planning; working results of the Government members presiding over, urging and working with localities on the situation of production, business, public investment, infrastructure construction, import and export, and recommendations and proposals under the Prime Minister's Decision No. 2023/QD-TTg dated April 435, 24.

Speaking at the conclusion of the session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the reports and 17 comments of local leaders and members of the Government and praised the provinces and cities for seriously grasping the Resolution of the XNUMXth Party Congress, the resolutions, conclusions and direction of the central government, the Politburo and the National Assembly, closely following the situation for drastic and synchronous direction and administration.
The Prime Minister said that the Government has well implemented 9 groups of tasks and solutions to help the socio-economy continue to develop stably in the first 5 months of the year, creating a foundation for the development in the last months of the year and in the coming years.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the lesson on maintaining, consolidating and strengthening solidarity, unity, efforts to overcome difficulties; keep a firm bravery in all situations; strengthen discipline and administrative discipline; timely, appropriate and effective policy response.
The Prime Minister requested the ministries, branches and localities to continue implementing the goals of stabilizing the macro-economy, controlling inflation, promoting growth, ensuring major balances, maintaining security, national defense, independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, preventing and combating corruption and negativity, strengthening foreign relations and international integration. Leaders of ministries, branches and localities strongly directed to focus on promoting three growth drivers including investment, consumption and export. Regarding investment, promote faster and more efficient disbursement of public investment, and promote private and FDI investment by taking measures to improve the business environment, promote digital transformation, and minimize administrative procedures. Regarding exports, strengthen trade promotion, maintain and strengthen existing markets with 3 signed FTAs, expand new markets in the Middle East, India, South America, complete the signing of FTAs with Israel and negotiate other FTAs...
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also requested the ministries, branches and localities to synchronously deploy solutions to well perform a number of tasks: planning, disbursement of public investment capital, national target programs, site clearance, administrative procedure reform, removing difficulties for people's production and business, enterprises, social security, credit policy, import-export, security, society, national defense, and other fields.
The Prime Minister suggested each individual and each group uphold their sense of responsibility, public service ethics and take drastic action to remove and handle practical and effective difficulties and obstacles, contributing to the country's continued development, striving that the next quarter is better than the previous quarter, and the next year is better than the previous year.
