During the meeting, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung respectfully extended his greetings to Chinese Premier Li Qiang and other Chinese leaders. The Prime Minister highly appreciated the very positive progress in Vietnam-China relations in recent times, especially the recent State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam, which achieved many important results, contributing to consolidating a solid foundation of political trust, strengthening strategic orientation, and elevating the relationship between the two Parties and two countries to a new level.

Expressing his honor to greet Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Ambassador Ha Vi conveyed the best wishes of Premier Li Qiang and other Chinese leaders to Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.
Ambassador Ha Wei happily reported to the Prime Minister on the positive progress in bilateral relations in recent times, especially the close high-level contacts, most notably the State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam; bilateral trade maintained growth, investment shifted strongly towards high-tech and innovative sectors, and the two countries continued to be leading source markets for each other's tourists.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung emphasized that the Vietnamese Party and State always cherish the assistance that China has given to Vietnam during the struggle for national independence in the past as well as in the country's development today; and always consider developing relations with China as a consistent policy, an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority in Vietnam's independent, self-reliant, self-strengthening, multilateral, and diversified foreign policy.
The Prime Minister expressed his wish for both sides to continue to closely coordinate and effectively implement the common understanding reached between the two General Secretaries and Presidents, especially in maintaining the fine tradition of high-level exchanges, promoting substantive cooperation in various fields, and striving to successfully achieve the development goals of each country.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister expressed his desire for both sides to promote balanced, healthy, and sustainable development of bilateral trade; create breakthroughs in strategic infrastructure connectivity, prioritizing railway cooperation; strongly develop cross-border economic corridors, logistics centers, border economic zones, and industrial clusters in border areas; accelerate the construction of smart border gates and promptly implement cross-border economic cooperation zones.
The Prime Minister requested China's support and facilitation of Vietnam's effective participation in the "Sharing the Big Market - Exporting to China" initiative, further opening up to Vietnamese agricultural, aquatic, and livestock products; promoting cooperation in science and technology, education and training; developing a specific plan to implement the Vietnam-China Tourism Cooperation Year 2026-2027; and strengthening cooperation in healthcare, including traditional medicine.

Agreeing with the important guiding principles of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Ambassador Ha Wei affirmed that China attaches great importance and gives high priority to developing relations with Vietnam, and will work with Vietnam to effectively implement high-level common understandings, promote substantive cooperation, and jointly build stable supply and production chains; he welcomed Vietnam's participation in the "Sharing the Big Market - Exporting to China" initiative, thereby facilitating the export of Vietnamese goods, especially agricultural products, to the Chinese market.
The ambassador expressed China's readiness to share its experience in building free trade zones and international financial centers, to promote railway cooperation between the two countries, including cooperation in railway technology and engineering, to expand railway connections between the two countries to the Asian and European continents; and to expand cooperation in science and technology, innovation, and energy security.
