Promoting digital banking innovation

This cooperation is expected to bring in 100 million USD for FPT and audax through providing digital banking solutions that bring a safe, innovative digital banking experience and are capable of meeting the expansion needs of financial institutions in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.

This strategic partnership strengthens the position of both FPT and audax in the digital banking sector in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, two of the world's most dynamic regions in financial technology (fintech).

Under the agreement,FPT becomes audax’s largest regional partner in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Accordingly, based on its technological strengths in developing cloud-native applications, microservice architecture, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) and agile software development model (Agile), FPT will play a key role in the development, testing, deployment and long-term operational support of audax’s digital banking platforms.

In the context that a large part of the Asia Pacific region's population does not have full access to banking services, the cooperation between the two sides will not only support financial institutions to modernize their systems and apply advanced models such as multi-platform integrated finance and banking, to promote financial inclusion and meet the growing demand for digital financial services.

The Asia Pacific digital banking market is forecast to grow by 110% to reach US$360 billion by 2030, while the Middle East region is forecast to grow by 58% and US$2.6 billion, respectively, demonstrating the potential for innovation and outstanding growth in this sector.

FPT started cooperating with audax in 2023, with the role of supporting product development and deployment in the Asia Pacific market. After positive results, the two sides upgraded the relationship to a long-term strategic partnership, demonstrating FPT's growing capacity in the fintech field. FPT currently owns a team of 3,000 financial technology engineers, providing advanced solutions to more than 200 global customers.
