(CT) - According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Can Tho City, since the beginning of the year, the city has been promoting the transfer and application of advanced techniques in the cultivation of rice, vegetables, ornamental flowers, fruit trees, livestock, and aquaculture... in order to develop production, help farmers reduce costs and increase income in production; ensure food safety; and protect aquatic resources. In March 2025, the city organized one training course with 30 participants; in the first quarter of 2025, it organized 26 training courses and workshops with 820 participants.

In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Environment collected GPS data from 535 agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production and business establishments in the city, issued electronic traceability codes (QR Codes) to 321 agricultural, forestry, and fisheries producers and businesses with 621 products; and guided and supported 119 units and 173 products in registering on the chonongsancantho.vn portal. Simultaneously, the sector is deploying applications for managing growing areas and electronic logging ( VNPT Green), applications to support pest identification on crops and provide technical advice on production (Mobi Agri), and managing rice production using Ricemo software... In addition, the sector is guiding and using FaceFarm and WACA software for cooperatives and building model cooperatives for digital transformation to implement the Project "Sustainable development of one million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice monoculture associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030"...
