Attending the conference were: Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and standing committees of district and city Party committees and Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee.

In the first quarter, the provincial Party-affiliated agencies basically completed their planned tasks, effectively advising on and supporting the activities of the Party committees, advising on the organization of conferences to launch political and ideological activities on the content of the article "Proud and confident under the glorious banner of the Party, determined to build a Vietnam that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, cultured and heroic" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; and implementing the thematic study on learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh in 2024.

Simultaneously, thoroughly understand and implement resolutions, conclusions, directives, regulations, and plans of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee according to the plan; advise on completing the self-criticism and collective and individual criticism review for 2023 in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the 12th Central Committee and Conclusion No. 21 KL/TW dated October 25, 2021, of the 13th Central Committee of the Party; advise on the development of the Job Position Scheme for Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations...

The Fatherland Front and political and social organizations of the province have focused on directing and implementing the work program and the social supervision and criticism program for 2024; successfully organized pilot congresses and the Fatherland Front Congress and the Youth Union Congress at the grassroots level, and prepared for pilot congresses at the district level; focused on implementing campaigns and emulation movements at the grassroots level; propagated and mobilized members, union members and the people to build prosperous and happy families, and encouraged participation in land donation...

Party committees, party organizations, agencies, and units in the internal affairs sector continue to lead the serious and effective implementation of resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee and the province on internal affairs and the prevention and fight against corruption and negative phenomena, especially newly issued documents. Internal affairs agencies have proactively carried out their functions, effectively implementing various aspects of crime and social vice prevention and control; inspection, investigation, prosecution, trial, execution of judgments; and legal education and dissemination, judicial assistance; citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution... contributing to maintaining political security and social order, and promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

The delegates discussed, analyzed, and clarified many issues related to existing shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of tasks; solutions for training and admitting new Party members; the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and mass organizations in disseminating information and mobilizing members to participate in national target programs, digital transformation, and crime prevention; promoting the function of supervision, receiving information, and advising Party committees and steering committees at all levels to resolve issues arising from the grassroots; and some issues related to judicial work and the Party's inspection and supervision work.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Chau Van Lam emphasized that in the coming period, the Party, mass organization, and internal affairs agencies of the province will continue to closely follow the 2024 work program and monthly work programs of the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee; continue to advise on and direct Party building tasks; advise on organizing study, dissemination, and implementation of resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee; and advise on leadership and implementation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee's plan on restructuring and consolidating the organizational apparatus of specialized agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee.

At the same time, continue to implement projects, conclusions, and directives on improving the quality of Party committee and Party branch meetings; review and supplement the planning of leading and managerial cadres at all levels, especially young cadres, female cadres, and ethnic minority cadres.

In addition, proactively innovate advisory work; coordinate effectively in mass mobilization work; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in security and order; strengthen inspection and supervision activities; prevent and combat corruption and negative practices; and effectively carry out the work of receiving citizens, receiving and processing petitions and complaints, and resolving grievances and denunciations according to regulations.

The comrade suggested that Party, mass organization, and internal affairs agencies continue to advise on the implementation of central and provincial documents on internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negative practices, and judicial reform; and advise on the implementation of directives and resolutions on mass mobilization, ethnic groups, and religion. At the same time, they should proactively innovate mass mobilization activities, focusing on the grassroots level.

Prepare well for the pilot congresses and the Fatherland Front congresses at the district level; focus on Party development work, linking it with the responsibility of the Party committees and the role of mass organizations in training, introducing, and admitting Party members, in line with the targets assigned by the Party committees; implement the housing program for poor households; strengthen the fight against and refutation of erroneous and hostile viewpoints, especially in cyberspace; ensure security, order, and national defense, serving the economic and social development of the locality.
