At the conference, delegates followed the visual report on the results of the leadership work in implementing the tasks of October 2025 of the General Department of Politics and the key directions and tasks of November 2025.

After listening to the reports, representatives of the units spoke up to discuss, supplement and clarify many contents on the work aspects that their agencies and units are responsible for; proposed and recommended measures to help the General Department of Politics focus on leadership to successfully complete the tasks of November 2025 and the coming time.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung agreed with the content of the report compiled and prepared by the Office of the General Staff; agreed with the additional comments, as well as recommendations and proposals from representatives of agencies and units at the meeting. At the same time, he summarized and emphasized the outstanding results in each field of work of the General Staff in October, especially the successful organization of the 12th Congress of the Army Party Committee, term 2025-2030, which was highly appreciated by the leaders of the Party, State and central and local agencies.

Along with the above contents, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung pointed out a number of limitations, requiring agencies and units to learn from experience and quickly overcome them in the coming time; summarized a number of issues related to the world and domestic situation, natural disasters, storms and floods that directly affect the activities of the Army in general and the Vietnam People's Army General Staff in particular.

Regarding the direction and key tasks in November 2025, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung agreed with the content that the Office of the General Department of Politics had compiled and proposed. At the same time, he emphasized a number of contents and tasks, requiring agencies and units to focus on leading the implementation of quality and efficiency in November.

In particular, focusing on effectively implementing contents related to Party activities, political work in the entire army and within the General Department; deploying and guiding the effective implementation of the work of reviewing and evaluating the quality of Party members according to the new model; completing new draft documents related to organizational and personnel work; focusing on doing well the work of ensuring security and safety, effectively fighting against the distorted arguments of hostile forces about the 14th National Party Congress; preparing to successfully organize congresses of mass organizations.

In addition to the above contents, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung requested agencies and units to strictly maintain regularity and discipline; continue to perfect the Project "Digital ecosystem for Party and political work sectors"; promote document digitization and complete well the sudden and arising tasks.

Leaders of the General Department of Politics awarded awards at all levels to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in all aspects of work and emulation movements.

At the conference, the leaders of the General Department of Military Science and Technology awarded collectives and individuals with many achievements in various aspects of work in the past time that were recognized and rewarded by all levels. In particular, the People's Army Newspaper received 2 certificates of merit from the Minister of National Defense for its outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" and for its outstanding achievements in participating in activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
