The performance of "Peach Blossom" was filled with emotion amidst heavy rain and thunder.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The unexpected natural effect made the "Peach Blossom" performance in concert 6 "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" one of the most special visual highlights of the series.

On the evening of June 16th, in Hung Yen , during the sixth night of the "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" concert series, a rare moment occurred when the "Peach Blossom" performance was struck by lightning right at the climax.

This special performance features the "Youth Group" consisting of Binz, Rhymastic, Quoc Thien, Duy Khanh, Tien Luat, Tien Dat, and Ha Le, in collaboration with People's Artist Thu Huyen - a veteran Cheo (traditional Vietnamese opera) artist.

"Dao Lieu " is a highly experimental performance that combines the language of rap, contemporary performance, and traditional Vietnamese opera (cheo) in the same space, showcasing the continuity of culture between generations.

As the group of artists performed amidst a torrential downpour, large lightning bolts suddenly flashed across the sky, creating a dazzling burst of light that enveloped the entire stage. This moment, seemingly brought to life by nature, left the audience in awe. Many described it as a scene of "absolute cinematic quality," impossible to replicate using conventional stage techniques.

Ngoc Anh, an audience member from Nam Dinh , who watched the performance from the front row, shared: “That moment was truly beautiful; the natural light blended into the stage as if it were perfectly calculated. But honestly, I was very scared when the lightning struck. Because heavy rain and intense thunder and lightning pose many dangers to the artists on stage.”

On social media, many viewers shared that the lightning strike moment in the "Peach Blossom" performance was the "most impressive and haunting" moment of the entire "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Thorns" series.

Many people call this "the most beautiful natural lighting effect of the year," when nature seems to blend into the stage at the very moment when emotions are at their peak.

What impressed the audience even more was that the artists remained calm, didn't lose their rhythm, didn't lose their formation, and completed their performance flawlessly, despite the extreme weather conditions.

Following the spectacular lightning strike, the show was hampered by heavy rain, causing multiple power outages for nearly 40 minutes. However, the close collaboration between the artists and the audience, with impromptu singing and lightstick waving in the darkness, transformed the "technical malfunction" into emotional material, creating a performance that exceeded all expectations.

Not only "Dao Lieu," but other performances that night, such as "Da Co Hoai Lang" and "Trong Com ," also faced weather challenges. Torrential rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms threatened to ruin the concert, but it was precisely in these adversities that the artists and audience created unforgettable experiences.

In a moment of improvisation, singer SOOBIN stepped out into the rain, played the zither, and sang live high notes with his technically skilled voice. Under the pouring rain, the performance was described by many fans as "breathtakingly beautiful, cinematic in every beat."

Soobin, one of the standout artists of the night, stunned the audience by stepping out into the heavy rain, sitting down to play the zither, and singing live with great emotion. He said through the rain, "I never thought in my career I would have a stage like this – performing in the rain, with thousands of fans still staying. I don't know what else to say, all of us artists will give it our all tonight."

People's Artist Tu Long, usually known for his eloquent speaking ability, hesitated this time. Standing in the middle of the stage, his voice choked with emotion, he said: "At this moment, even the most critical among us are moved to tears. We not only want to express our gratitude, but we also want to ask you to convey the apologies of the talented performers and the program to your parents. They are at home right now, waiting and worrying about you. It rained all evening, and you still stayed here."

That same night, the organizers officially apologized on their fan page: “The organizers sincerely apologize to the audience for the interruption due to weather issues affecting the technical aspects of the event. We are deeply grateful for the patience and support of the audience.”
