At the Internet Day 2024 Conference and Exhibition held on November 27, 2024 in Hanoi , Mr. Vo Dai Chuyen, Director of Technical Systems and Infrastructure at GreenNode, shared his experience in developing GPU Cloud infrastructure in Vietnam, with the desire to collaborate with businesses and the Government to enhance the national AI infrastructure capacity.
According to Mr. Chuyen, the Asia- Pacific region is currently a model for digital transformation efforts, considered a rapidly developing market in AI and Cloud technology. It is projected that total investment in AI in the Asia-Pacific region will reach US$110 billion by 2028, accounting for 10% of the region's total IT spending. “The APAC digital economy is thriving as countries actively apply AI to drive digital transformation. This requires a more advanced technological infrastructure to meet the growing demands of AI.”
“ GreenNode aims to bring GPU AI closer to domestic businesses. At the same time, with our existing market experience, we hope to partner with the Government in the journey of transforming and developing the national digital infrastructure ,” Mr. Chuyen emphasized.
In addition, GreenNode representatives also pointed out the difficulties and challenges in building the AI data center, while emphasizing GreenNode's advantages in applying NVIDIA architecture to develop groundbreaking AI applications such as AI Platform, OCR, etc.
Specifically, building an AI data center requires a connectivity system with superior speed. Compared to traditional infrastructure, AI data centers need to integrate more complex connections such as: GPU-to-GPU, clos & rail topology, Infiniband, RDMA, or NVlink… In particular, continuous operation at high capacity will increase the rate of major technical errors, therefore a technical team capable of quickly resolving problems, based on experience and skills in operating large data centers, is needed.
By building large-scale products on a cloud computing platform, GreenNode's team has simplified the task of training AI developers by providing the GreenNode AI platform. This cloud-based training platform can create a flexible training environment with just a few simple steps. The platform integrates with machine learning frameworks, making it easy to train effective AI models.
In addition, GreenNode offers a wide range of AI GPUs, from simple to advanced models like the 1024-card H100, combined with an innovative GPU allocation model, allowing AI developers to optimize training costs for long-term projects.

This is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) in collaboration with the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC) and sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
