In the two resistance wars to save the country, young volunteers were the leading force in combat service. In peacetime, they also take on difficult and arduous tasks in the construction of the country. Returning to everyday life, the former youth volunteers still maintain a strong comradeship, help each other overcome difficulties, and set a good example for their children and grandchildren to study and follow.
Join hands for teammates
Now, the old blue-shirted soldiers have entered the ages of U70 and U80. After liberation, some people continued to work, some left the army and returned to everyday life. Life is so busy and worrying, but the old soldiers still keep in touch with each other. In which, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers at all levels and the Contact Committees of former Youth Volunteers are the common roof of the former Youth Volunteers. Up to now, 11/11 districts, towns and cities and 115/159 communes, wards and townships in the province have organized the Alumni Association with about 4.700 members.
According to Mr. Huynh Kim Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Youth Youth Union Association, associations or contact boards were established to gather and unite former Youth Youth Unions, thereby reviving and promoting the tradition of the Youth Youth Union in the cause of innovation. , building and defending the Fatherland; encourage members to help and support each other in life, eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, raise living standards, and conduct camaraderie activities; protect the legitimate rights and interests of members, contribute to the construction and socio-economic development of the locality.
At the beginning of June, 6.2023, the Provincial Association of Veterans and Youths held a handover of the house of comradeship for two former youth volunteers in Hoai Nhon town, Mr. Tran Bong (in Hoai Huong ward) and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (in Hoai Son commune). On handing over the house, not only the families of the two former TNXPs were happy, but their relatives and neighbors also came to celebrate. Up to now, the Provincial Alumni Association has mobilized funds from donors to support the removal of simple houses for 93 members with a total amount of 3,87 billion VND. At the same time, the Provincial Alumni Association also enlisted the support of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and agencies and benefactors inside and outside the province to organize many activities to visit and give gifts to martyrs' families. and former members of TNXP with difficult circumstances and illness. Particularly in the first 6 months of 2023, all levels of the Association gave 429 gifts worth nearly 180 million VND to former volunteers.

The comradeship is not only shown to the survivors, but the former generations of TNXP are also always respectful, grateful and responsible for the comrades who sacrificed to write a heroic history for the nation. In particular, all levels of associations always uphold the spirit of "cautious, accurate and timely" to well perform the role of historical witnesses. Despite facing many difficulties due to old age and weakness, the former generations of TNXP in the province are enthusiastic and enthusiastic to participate in the search and gathering of martyrs' remains.
