Organize a review of tree planting and maintenance projects.

On March 27, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee announced that it had sent a document to the Department of Finance and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities requesting the provision of records and documents related to urban tree planting and maintenance projects in the province from 2019 to the present.

The Ministry of Public Security has requested Quang Tri province to review projects for planting and caring for trees in the area.

Previously, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security sent a document to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province stating that it was inspecting, verifying, and clarifying the construction of tree planting and maintenance projects in provinces and cities carried out by Cong Minh Greenery Company Limited and related companies and units.

To assist in the investigation, the Ministry of Public Security has requested the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to provide information and documents regarding the implementation of the tree planting and maintenance project in Quang Tri province from 2019 to the present.

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has assigned the Department of Finance to act as the focal point for compiling and reporting on the implementation of urban tree planting and maintenance projects in the province from 2019 to the present.

Previously, localities such as Quang Nam, Ha Tinh , and Thua Thien - Hue were also requested by the Ministry of Public Security to provide information and documents regarding the aforementioned projects.

The implementation process and the units responsible for these projects include the winning contractors, the project contractors for planting and caring for trees, project tracking records, and project documents. Units and individuals from the district and town levels... up to the provincial level under the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee are involved in the implementation of tree planting and care projects in the area.

Reports indicate that local authorities have submitted reports to the Provincial People's Committee regarding urban tree planting and maintenance projects in their areas. In some localities, these tree planting projects involve companies such as Southwest Greenery Company Limited, An Nguyen Environment Company Limited, and Kien Giang Greenery Company Limited, among others.

Specifically, Southwest Vietnam Greenery Company Limited and An Nguyen Environmental Company Limited have implemented numerous projects in the districts of Huong Hoa, Dakrong, Gio Linh, Hai Lang, etc.
