I'm afraid Vietnamese audiences won't accept me.

On the stage of "Beautiful Woman Riding the Wind," singer Minh Tuyet broke down in tears, confessing that she had initially hesitated to participate in the program because she feared her hometown audience wouldn't accept her.

The first performance of the 2024 "Beautiful Women Riding the Wind " show featured eight colorful acts. The contestants underwent a stunning transformation, surprising the audience with their impressive makeovers.

The two alliances competed in four rounds of showdowns, featuring a series of performances in singing, acting, dancing, and performing. After each performance, the beautiful women also had the opportunity to share their personal stories.

In the performance of "If You Were Me, " My Linh collaborated with Minh Tuyet and Tuimi. The three moved the audience with their sweet, captivating voices and harmonious collaboration with the band, creating a poignant and heartfelt performance.

With the theme "Woman in the Mirror," Minh Tuyet conceived the image of three women with three different personalities and life stories. Each woman has her own worries and comes together in one place to confide in each other about their feelings.

At the end of the performance, Minh Tuyet summed up her emotions with the word "chaos" because she felt like "the crybaby inside her was about to come out."

Despite returning to Vietnam to sing for many years, Minh Tuyet still primarily works overseas. In Vietnam, she has only recently accepted invitations to be a judge or coach in a few programs.

Minh Tuyet confided that it took a great deal of courage for her to dare to participate in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" as a contestant.

The singer from the 70s generation admitted: "I don't know if I can guarantee the time and health so as not to affect my team. And I'm also afraid because I don't know if the audience in Vietnam will accept me or not." Amidst the cheers of the audience, she broke down in tears right on stage.

Minh Tuyet was overcome with emotion on stage.

Minh Tuyet tearfully revealed that she had received an invitation since the first season but didn't dare to participate.

The singer of "If You Don't Love Me, Then Just Leave" explained that she is a demanding professional who always wants to present the most perfect image to the audience, and that being on this stage is the most beautiful memory in her musical career.

After hearing Minh Tuyet's touching confession, My Linh jokingly said she was the "cure" for her teammate's overthinking. The diva quipped that since joining her team, Minh Tuyet has been smiling all the time and no longer seems worried.

Listening to the comforting words of her teammates, Minh Tuyet shared that she felt very happy and hoped that the upcoming journey would bring audiences a different image of Minh Tuyet than the one they are used to seeing.

"You always see Minh Tuyet shining brightly on stage, right? But I want you to see the Minh Tuyet inside me rather than the Minh Tuyet outside! I want you to understand me more."

"I may not wear high heels, I may wear lower heels so I can dance freely and bring all the talent I've had from the past to the present to give my all in this show," the singer added.

Additionally, in performance 1, the act by the team of Ngoc Phuoc, Ngoc Anh, Thuy Hien, and Maitinhvi also moved the audience. They told their own stories through the song "Let Me Embrace You" with this melody.

Sharing about the performance and the stories they conveyed, "rock queen" Ngoc Anh teared up as she recounted the loneliness she felt while working abroad in her youth. She couldn't hold back her emotions when sharing that she had just experienced a great loss – the death of her mother less than two months prior.

The performance of "Let me hug you with this melody" was very moving.

The "Time Bomb" performance by Pham Quynh Anh's team also received enthusiastic applause for its captivating and energetic dance moves.

Phuong Thanh appeared in a youthful and seductive outfit, showcasing her powerful vocals, and also surprised everyone with her hot dance moves.

After the performance, the singer burst into tears on stage, which deeply moved Thu Phuong, who was watching from backstage. She delivered an outstanding performance and jokingly remarked, " Don't worry! Phuong Thanh is a warrior; she'll hit the stage and win!"

Pham Quynh Anh also proudly shared that the performance was a daring act, with women in their 40s and 50s doing what women in their 20s and 30s do, hoping that the performance would inspire other women to be confident in themselves.

In the 2024 "Beautiful Women Riding the Wind" competition, audience votes are called "Wave Flower" points. The final Wave Flower score is the sum of the Wave Flower scores of the four alliance performances. The alliance with the lower Wave Flower score faces the risk of having a member leave the program.

After the first performance, the audience's votes for the performances in the studio were kept secret.

Additionally, the audience voted for 28 other beautiful women, excluding My Linh and Thu Phuong. Each viewer was allowed to vote for their three favorites.
