Instead of telling a story through dry numbers, episode 15 of "A Day's Journey..." with the theme "Touching the Breath of the Green Forest" guides viewers with the most subtle emotions. It's the touch of a gnarled ancient tree trunk that makes you feel small, or listening to the wind rustling through the leaves that purifies the soul.

At Cat Tien National Park – the “green lung” located about 120km from the center of Dong Nai province – the audience's journey will begin with slow steps on the moist, fertile ground where life is constantly regenerating. In this short but enriching 10-minute journey, viewers will hear Mr. Bui Quoc Vy (a staff member of Cat Tien National Park) introduce the vibrant life of the nearly 400-year-old Banyan tree. With six trunks and one towering branch, this entity is not just a tree but a symbol of enduring time.
Leaving the shade of ancient banyan trees, the sound of trickling water will lead you to Ben Cu Reef. This is not only a picturesque scenic spot with fascinating rock formations but also a place associated with glorious historical memories, where the first Forest Ranger Station of Cat Tien was established in 1978.

More than just a simple ecological space, in 2025, Cat Tien proudly received four prestigious international awards from the Asian Ecotourism Network. This is a testament to the efforts in biodiversity conservation and sustainable destination management that many people here have persistently pursued. Through the heartfelt sharing from tour guide Nguyen Thi My Linh, the program aims to convey a profound message: Forests don't need us to conquer them; they only need to be understood and appreciated.
