The program, featuring the Ho Chi Minh City Symphony Orchestra, was divided into two parts, combining world classical works with timeless Vietnamese songs. Conducted by Lê Ha My and Trần Nhật Minh, it provided the audience with a dignified and emotionally charged artistic experience.
The program featured renowned classical music artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Symphony Orchestra and Opera House, as well as artists from Hanoi… The combination of choir, soloists, and symphony orchestra created a meaningful musical evening, honoring the spirit of unity, the aspiration for peace , and national pride.
* On the same evening, the special chamber symphony art program "Song of Unity," organized by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army and entrusted to the Military University of Culture and Arts, took place at the Southern Military Theater.
Attending the program were Politburo member and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; former Vice President Truong My Hoa; General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense; General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Minister of National Defense...
The 90-minute program features 18 outstanding artistic performances, divided into three chapters: "The South Leads the Way ," " The Battle Song," and "The Victory Monument ." Each chapter is a historical snapshot, staged on a large scale in both content and form, deeply marked by historical significance, patriotism, and the profound pride of the Vietnamese people on their journey to independence, freedom, and nation-building.
The highlight of the program was the re-arranged versions of timeless songs, a collaboration between the Army Symphony Orchestra and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera and Ballet Theatre Choir. In addition, several instrumental pieces, incorporating traditional Vietnamese instruments, were performed and received enthusiastic applause from the audience. Approximately 100 artists from various units within and outside the military participated in the performance.
