According to Novyny.live, in 2026, the RankingRoyals platform published its annual list of Asia's richest people, including 10 financial leaders with assets ranging from $42 billion to nearly $100 billion.
Leading the list is billionaire Mukesh Ambani with a net worth of $98.4 billion. Closely following is Gautam Adani in second place with $85.3 billion. The ranking provides an overview of the enormous private wealth concentrated in the hands of Asia's leading industrialists and technology founders.
According to Forbes ' estimates, in early March 2026, Mukesh Ambani (69 years old) had a net worth of $99.7 billion, just a little short of joining the club of those with assets of $100 billion or more.

Mukesh Ambani's net worth has fluctuated significantly since 2021. He is the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, a diversified conglomerate focused not only on petrochemicals but also textiles and telecommunications. He currently ranks 20th on Forbes ' global billionaire list with $97.7 billion.
Meanwhile, Gautam Adani (64 years old) is the chairman of the Adani Group, a diversified conglomerate operating in the import and export of raw materials and finished goods, including coal trading, mining, oil and gas exploration, as well as ports, energy and agricultural commodities.
In third place is Zhong Shanshan (born in 1954), a famous self-made Chinese billionaire, often referred to as the "lone wolf," with a net worth of $70.3 billion. Zhong Shanshan is the founder of Nongfu Spring (bottled water) and owns a majority stake in Wantai Biological Pharmacy.
In fourth place is Tadashi Yanai (born in 1949), Japan's richest billionaire – the founder and chairman of Fast Retailing, the parent company of the famous UNIQLO fashion retail group. Tadashi Yanai transformed his father's small clothing store into a global empire, possessing a net worth of over $57 billion (as of April 2026).
Zhang Yiming is a renowned Chinese tech billionaire, the founder of ByteDance and the short-video platform TikTok. With a net worth of $65.2 billion, Zhang Yiming consistently tops the list of China's richest people and ranks among the world's richest thanks to the phenomenal success of TikTok and Douyin.
Sixth place goes to Ma Huateng ($60.1 billion) - co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Tencent, one of the world's largest internet companies. Ma Huateng consistently ranks among the world's billionaires thanks to the development of WeChat and investments in gaming.
Next are Zeng Yuqun ($58.4 billion), Zhang Bo ($47.2 billion), Jack Ma ($45.8 billion), and Li Ka-shing ($42.1 billion).
