On the evening of March 1st, Tottenham continued to disappoint, losing 1-2 to Fulham in the 28th round of the Premier League.

Traveling to Craven Cottage under immense pressure, Igor Tudor's side received an early setback. In the 7th minute, Harry Wilson scored with a decisive one-touch finish inside the penalty area to give Fulham the lead. The goal required VAR verification but was ultimately awarded.

Tottenham attempted to respond with a series of set pieces and long-range shots from Pedro Porro, Joao Palhinha, and Randal Kolo Muani. However, accuracy was what they lacked.

Meanwhile, Fulham played sharp and confident counter-attacking football. In the 34th minute, Alex Iwobi doubled the lead with a dangerous curling shot from the edge of the penalty area; the ball hit the post and flew into the net, leaving Vicario helpless.

In the second half, the game became more intense with many tense clashes and a series of yellow cards being shown. Fulham had opportunities to increase their lead but failed to capitalize on them.

While struggling to find a way past Bernd Leno, Spurs unexpectedly rekindled hope in the 66th minute. From a precise long pass by Archie Gray, Richarlison rose high to head the ball in, reducing the deficit to 1-2.

The remaining time saw Tottenham exert relentless pressure. Dominic Solanke, Mathys Tel and Pape Matar Sarr all had clear chances, with Sarr's shot in the 88th minute narrowly missing the post. However, against Fulham's disciplined defense and Leno's solid performance, Spurs were unable to find an equalizer.

The defeat leaves Tottenham stuck in 16th place, just four points above the relegation zone. Conversely, Fulham climbed into the top half of the table and continue to harbor hopes of competing for a European spot. For Spurs, the crisis shows no signs of abating.
