Tottenham have officially announced the dismissal of manager Thomas Frank following a series of poor results for the London club.

The Danish manager only took over the hot seat from Ange Postecoglou this summer.

However, Spurs' poor results and performances have left the club's leadership with no more patience. They've decided a change is needed mid-season.

A statement from Tottenham read: "Throughout his time at the club, Thomas has consistently demonstrated dedication and commitment to moving Spurs forward."

Thomas Frank has struggled to win over Spurs fans, especially after crucial home defeats against Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Fulham, and West Ham.

The defeat to Newcastle this week was the final straw, forcing Tottenham's leadership to hold an emergency meeting and announce the sacking of Thomas Frank.

Off-field issues also weakened Spurs under the Danish manager.

Captain Cristian Romero publicly criticized the club, calling it "shameful" for its inactivity in the winter transfer market.
