Each trip is an asset that I cherish, accumulate, and feel grateful for having a "rich" youth, sparkling with joy.
For me, travel isn't just about relaxation and rest, but also an opportunity to explore new lands and expand my horizons. I just had a truly meaningful trip to start the new year in Phu Yen – the land of "golden flowers on green grass" that has been featured in countless works of poetry and film, and is also the hometown of my beloved friend.

From Ho Chi Minh City, I took the earliest flight of the day to Tuy Hoa Airport (Phu Yen) and began my exciting experiences. Choosing motorbikes as our mode of transportation, we rode along breathtakingly beautiful roads: on one side, the vast sea and sky, on the other, majestic cliffs.

Phu Yen is attractive not only for its picturesque nature but also for its unique historical sites such as Mang Lang Church - one of the oldest Catholic buildings in our country, over 120 years old. I was deeply moved when I saw the first book written in the Vietnamese Quốc ngữ script, which is stored here. The book is titled "Eight-Day Sermon," printed in the Vatican. We also visited Thanh Luong Pagoda - one of the most famous spiritual tourist destinations in the "Nẫu region" (a region known for its unique culture), and couldn't miss the pristine and romantic Ganh Da Dia, then watched the glorious sunrise at Mui Dien, and immersed ourselves in the cool sea breeze at Nghinh Phong Tower.
Morning at Mui Dien – one of the first places to witness the sunrise in Vietnam.
Phu Yen's cuisine is an absolute plus, from the piping hot steamed rice cakes, the fragrant fish cake noodle soup, the rich fermented fish sauce noodle soup… and even the warm family meals at my friend's house. Everything made me feel attached to and fond of this place.
I've come to realize that it's not necessarily international, social media-sensational destinations that bring satisfaction. Young people should choose destinations that suit their financial capabilities and available time. Even within Vietnam, there are many places that enrich our knowledge and emotions, hone our life skills, and foster quality social connections. The trip wasn't long, but it was a beautiful memory, giving me positive energy that made me love Vietnam even more.
