
According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the topics in this year's final round are highly topical and applicable, with many research topics applying artificial intelligence (AI) in various fields; many research topics on pressing social issues, and some topics involving technology transfer.
In the field of social sciences , the first prize was awarded to the team of contestants Huynh Thuy Vy, Dao Quang Nghia, and Le Thi Ngoc Quyen (Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy) for their research topic: "Study on the need for psychosocial support and related factors in cancer patients at the Chemotherapy Department, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital."
In the field of educational science, the team of contestants Nguyen Hong Phuc, Duong Gia Thinh, and Do Cao Dat (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education) excellently won first prize with their topic "Developing digital skills for students through teaching Biology 10".
In the field of engineering and technology, the first prize went to the team of Dinh Quang Son, Dinh Quan Van, and Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu ( Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry) with their project "Research and design of electromechanical (EMG) sensors to improve the efficiency of Bionic Robot hand controllers for people with disabilities."
In the remaining fields, the first prize was also awarded to other outstanding projects from individuals and research groups, demonstrating the diversity and depth of scientific research activities among students this year.
The Euréka Award is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2025, the award continued its large scale with 2,179 entries from over 7,500 students from 161 universities, colleges, and academies nationwide. After the school-level selection round and the semi-final round at 16 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, 192 entries from 84 schools were selected for the final round.
This year's awards cover a total of 15 fields: Information technology; food technology; administration-legal science; chemistry; educational science; agricultural science; social science; medical science; economics; engineering-technology; planning, architecture and construction; biology; resources and environment; culture and arts; and physics.
This year, Euréka also saw many notable new developments, especially the research poster voting activity with over 630,000 votes from the community. Many highly applicable research topics received funding for further research, commercialization, and technology transfer.
