Deploying the movement "Digital Education for All"

Implementing Plan No. 305-KH/TU dated May 9, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee has just issued instructions on disseminating and propagating the "Digital Popular Education" movement in the city.

The "Digital Literacy for All" movement aims to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the significance of digital transformation; popularize digital skills to every citizen, aiming at the goal of "leaving no one behind" in the national digital transformation process.

The focus of the movement is to disseminate basic digital knowledge and skills, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, the poor, the disabled, and ethnic minorities. Thereby, contributing to building a digital culture, forming a safe, responsible, and humane digital environment.

The guidelines clearly state that propaganda needs to be carried out extensively from the grassroots, linked to each village and residential group. Cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees must be pioneers and role models in learning and practicing digital skills, turning the process of self-study and self-improvement of digital knowledge into the personal needs of each citizen.

The movement is also implemented in parallel with major projects and plans of the Central Government such as: project to raise awareness, popularize skills and develop human resources for digital transformation; movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society" for the period 2023-2030; project "Elderly people participate in digital transformation, start-ups, green transformation".

The city will organize a "National Digital Learning Festival" on the City Digital Transformation Day (August 28) and the National Digital Transformation Day (October 10) every year with online and direct activities related to the community, businesses and schools; deploy specific models such as: "Digital Family", "Digital Ambassador", "Digital Market - Digital Rural Area", "Community Digital Technology Team", "Each Citizen - A Digital Identity", "Youth Join Hands to Universalize Digital Skills"... to create a widespread impact in society.
