Across the country, there are hundreds of thousands of martyrs whose identities remain unknown.

To facilitate the process for the relatives of fallen soldiers, the Provincial Police will coordinate with relevant units to organize centralized DNA sample collection at two fixed locations: the Provincial Police Headquarters Hall and the Vinh Loc Town Police Headquarters Hall (Chiem Hoa); and five mobile locations in An Tuong Ward ( Tuyen Quang City), Minh Huong Commune (Ham Yen), Dong Tho Commune (Son Duong), and Nhan Ly Commune (Chiem Hoa). The DNA sample collection is scheduled for May 6, 2025.

Implementing the collection of DNA samples for relatives of unidentified martyrs is a sacred, humane, and deeply compassionate task. This is a crucial step in accelerating the search for and verification of the remains of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance wars.
