
The exhibition, featuring nearly 500 documents and photographs, was organized by the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center, the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures, and the provinces of Son La, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh. The content showcases images of President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders visiting ethnic minority communities in the highlands; and depicts the nature, life, culture, and people of these regions. Notably, the exhibition space also recreates a traditional highland market from the northern highlands.

Specifically, the Son La province photo exhibition area features 80 photos under 3 themes: "Son La - Land and People," reflecting the province's socio -economic development achievements; "Son La Cultural Heritage," showcasing more than 20 intangible cultural heritage sites, historical relics, and tourist attractions; and "Son La's Beauty," featuring stunning photos of the province's tourist destinations.

The photo exhibition aims to introduce and promote to domestic and international friends the potential for tourism development and the traditional culture of ethnic groups in the process of reform, integration, and development.
