Located at the foot of the Truong Son mountain range, about 30 km west of Da Nang city center, Suoi Hoa Eco -tourism Area (Phu Tuc hamlet, Hoa Vang commune) has been a familiar destination for locals and tourists every summer. In the typical sweltering heat of Central Vietnam, this place is like a "green oasis" with pleasant temperatures, the sound of babbling streams, and lush green mountains and forests. Within the Suoi Hoa Eco-tourism Area lies Toom Sara village – gradually becoming a favorite stop for many tourists thanks to its nature-based resort model combined with local cultural experiences. In early 2025, this model was awarded the ASEAN Community Tourism Award for its focus on green tourism development and the preservation of local culture.
At Toom Sara, visitors can choose to stay in comfortable, rustic-designed houses with views of the stream or the expansive lawn. The accommodation here aims for a relaxing and familiar feeling… Waking up to the sound of forest birds in the morning and listening to the stream flowing right outside the porch at night becomes an experience that many visitors will remember long after their trip. Besides accommodation, many visitors to the village this summer choose to spend most of their time bathing in the stream and sitting in the waterside huts. The most attractive feature here lies in the system of streams, lakes, and waterfalls stretching through the forest. The cool, fresh water from the source flows over the rocks, creating a feeling of tranquility the moment your feet touch the water.
In addition, many tourists also choose to visit Tiệm Đhí - a cafe located halfway up the hill in Toom Sara. From here, you can look down at the green mountain scenery and enjoy the cool breeze characteristic of the Hoa Vang region every afternoon. It is precisely the pristine beauty of the Hoa Vang mountains that makes many young people liken Suối Hoa to a "miniature Da Lat" of Da Nang every summer.
Mountain and forest protein
Beyond its waterfalls and streams, Toom Sara is steeped in the essence of the mountainous region thanks to its activities reflecting local culture. Within the resort grounds are traditional Katu houses, allowing visitors to learn more about life in the highlands. Many cultural exchange activities, such as fire-calling rituals and folk games with local men, are regularly organized during the peak summer season. Many indigenous Katu people live and work in Toom Sara, from welcoming guests and serving food to guiding them through experiences and performing traditional cultural acts. This genuine, simple, and friendly atmosphere creates a unique experience for visitors.

Cuisine is also a plus point of Toom Sara village. After soaking in the cool water, many tourists choose to enjoy local dishes such as sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes, grilled chicken, stream fish, wild bamboo shoots, or local pork... The dishes are not elaborate but are rich in the flavors of the mountains and forests. According to many locals, the best time to visit Suoi Hoa is from March to August, when the weather is less rainy and the stream water is clear. On hot days, the temperature in this area is usually a few degrees Celsius more pleasant than in the city center thanks to the surrounding natural forest ecosystem.
In the sweltering summer heat of Central Vietnam, Toom Sara village is not only a place to immerse yourself in cool waters but also a haven where visitors can temporarily escape the noise of traffic, the dust and pollution, and the hurried pace of urban life to find peace amidst nature.
