In addition to the Trump Mobile brand, the company’s online store also offers a variety of refurbished iPhones and Samsung phones, with service packages that can be activated immediately. However, the prices it offers for the phones are not attractive.
According to The Verge , Trump Mobile's SIM service is still working normally, despite the extended delivery time. This shows that users can use Trump Mobile's network service on the devices that the company is selling. However, other than the brand shell, the devices do not seem to have any special elements attached to the hardware.
Trump Mobile currently sells four models, including the Samsung Galaxy S23, S24, and iPhone 14, 15. All are standard versions, with no Plus, Ultra, Pro, or Pro Max options. Storage capacity is limited to 128 GB or out of stock, while buyers cannot choose the color.
These are all old models as the Galaxy S23 and S24 are due out in 2023 and 2024 respectively, while the iPhone 14 and 15 are due out a year earlier than their competitors.
However, the new price is what attracts many people's attention. Trump Mobile sells the iPhone 14 for $489 , the iPhone 15 for $629 . Apple no longer offers the refurbished iPhone 14, but the genuine refurbished iPhone 15 is sold for only $529 , $100 cheaper than the price on Trump Mobile.
Comparing the market shows the difference even more clearly when Amazon lists the two models above at 305 USD and 429.99 USD respectively. According to Macworld , there is no place that sells refurbished iPhones more expensive than Trump Mobile.
For Samsung phones, Trump Mobile's prices are lower than the official new list price. However, other refurbished options on Amazon, Best Buy, or Back Market are still significantly cheaper, ranging from $249 to $290 .

Besides the selling price, information about the refurbishment process or warranty is also a concern. Trump Mobile does not specify the refurbishment partner, does not guarantee genuine components and does not provide warranty information. Meanwhile, Apple, Samsung and Back Market all apply a one-year warranty for refurbished products.
Some confusing details on the product page also caught attention, such as the call to “Be the first to upgrade to iPhone 14,” despite the model being 3 years old. Additionally, the announcement “pay only $489 today” is actually the price for the device alone, not including other services.
While the T1 Phone 8002, which is promised to be "made by American hands," is still unknown when it will be released, The Verge commented that the refurbished smartphone options on Trump Mobile's website are not attractive products either.
