Besides the Trump Mobile brand, the company's online store also offers many refurbished iPhone and Samsung phone models, along with service packages that can be activated immediately. However, the prices offered by this unit for these phones are not attractive.

According to The Verge , Trump Mobile's SIM service is still functioning normally, despite extended delivery times. This suggests users can utilize Trump Mobile's network service on the devices the company is selling. However, aside from the branding, the devices appear to lack any distinctive hardware features.

Trump Mobile currently sells four models: Samsung Galaxy S23, S24, and iPhone 14, 15. All are standard versions; there are no Plus, Ultra, Pro, or Pro Max options. Storage capacity is limited to 128 GB or is out of stock, and buyers cannot choose the color.

These are all older models, as the Galaxy S23 and S24 were released in 2023 and 2024 respectively, while the iPhone 14 and 15 were launched a year earlier than their competitors.

However, the new prices are what's drawing attention. Trump Mobile is selling the iPhone 14 for $489 and the iPhone 15 for $629 . Apple no longer offers refurbished iPhone 14s, but officially refurbished iPhone 15s are selling for just $529 , $100 cheaper than the prices on Trump Mobile.

A market comparison further highlights the stark difference, with Amazon listing the two models at $305 and $429.99 respectively. According to Macworld , no other retailer sells refurbished iPhones for more than Trump Mobile.

With Samsung phones, Trump Mobile's prices are lower than the official retail price. However, other refurbished options on Amazon, Best Buy, or Back Market are still significantly cheaper, ranging from just $249 to $290 .

Besides the price, information regarding the refurbishment process and warranty is also a cause for concern. Trump Mobile does not specify its refurbishment partners, does not guarantee genuine parts, and does not provide warranty information. Meanwhile, Apple, Samsung, and Back Market all offer a one-year warranty on refurbished products.

Some confusing details on the product page also drew attention, such as the call to action to “Be the first to upgrade to the iPhone 14,” even though the model is three years old. Additionally, the announcement “pay only $489 today” was actually the price for the device only and did not include other services.

With the T1 Phone 8002, touted as "made in America," still having no release date, The Verge notes that the refurbished smartphone options on Trump Mobile's website are not particularly appealing either.
