Special exhibition "Bac Son Uprising - The opening gunshots of national liberation"

On the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of Bac Son Uprising (September 27, 1940 - September 27, 2025). On the morning of September 27, 2025, the Provincial Museum organized a special exhibition "Bac Son Uprising - The opening gunshots of national liberation" at the Bac Son Uprising Museum, Bac Son commune, Lang Son province.

“Bac Son Uprising - The opening gunshot of national liberation”

The exhibition consists of 3 parts:

Part 1: French colonial invasion of Vietnam and the colonial exploitation process: Displaying documents, images, and an overview of the French colonial invasion of Vietnam and the occupation of Lang Son , the pacification and governance policies of French colonialism in Vietnam and Lang Son.

Part 2: Bac Son uprising - the spirit of national uprising:

Introduce the background, developments and significance of the uprising, affirming that this was an important milestone, opening the climax of the national liberation revolution, leading to the birth of revolutionary armed forces later.

Part 3: Lang Son in the process of construction, innovation, integration and development: Introducing images and documents on the economic , cultural and social achievements of Bac Son district before the merger of two-level local governments and Lang Son province in the process of innovation; demonstrating the inheritance and promotion of the revolutionary spirit of our ancestors in building a rich and beautiful homeland.

Through the exhibition, we aim to review important historical events and honor the patriotism and indomitable will of the Bac Son ethnic groups in the struggle for national independence.

With 130 documents and images on display, the exhibition has contributed to propagating and educating revolutionary traditions for cadres, party members, people and especially the young generation, arousing pride and a sense of responsibility to build and firmly protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the era of national growth.
