Coming to Tan Binh commune, Tan Tru district, Long An province, along both sides of Huynh Van Ky street, green trees and flower beds compete to show their colors. In particular, the red flags with yellow stars fluttering in the wind make the countryside more vibrant.

In early March 2025, the project "Bright - Green - Clean" - Huynh Van Ky Street, awarded by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, was inaugurated in Binh Tay Hamlet. With a total length of 900m, the project is equipped with 35 lamp posts and 35 national flag stands. The total cost of implementation is 100 million VND.

Not only this route, the Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to carry out the National Flag Road project on Tran Ba ​​An Street, Binh Dong Hamlet. The project is 2km long with 45 flagpoles fixed to solar-powered lamp posts.

In addition, there is also the “Bright - Green - Clean” route - Le Cong Hau route in Binh Dong hamlet, Tan Binh commune with 15 solar-powered lamp posts and 15 national flag stands. The total length of the route is 800m, the cost of implementation is more than 30 million VND supported by benefactors.

Ho Tuan An, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tan Binh Commune, Tan Tru District, said: "Those who have the opportunity to walk along the streets lined with national flags and see the red flag with yellow star fluttering in the wind will surely be moved, moved, and even more proud and loving of the Fatherland."

In Duc Hue district, after the National Flag Road project was inaugurated on the border patrol road in Binh Hoa Hung, My Binh and My Thanh Tay communes, cadres, party members and people in the district continued to actively respond and expand, creating a spreading effect on the heroic border land. The red flags with yellow stars not only contribute to beautifying the new rural picture but also arouse national pride and patriotism in each citizen.

The National Flag Road project is being replicated in Duc Hue district.

We were present at Binh Hoa Nam commune, Duc Hue district when the union members and youth of the commune were concentrating on implementing the youth project of the National Flag Road on the road leading to the relic site marking the establishment of Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9 (the predecessor of the current Military Zone 7) in Hamlet 3. There were 25 flagpoles planted along the 1.5km long road.

According to Secretary of the Youth Union of Binh Hoa Nam commune - Ly Ngoc Tram, the launch of the National Flag Road is an activity of great significance in educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and ideals. Through this activity, the younger generation will better understand the heroic traditions of the nation, the great feats and sacrifices of previous generations, thereby promoting the revolutionary spirit, determination, actively working, studying, building and defending the Fatherland, contributing to building the homeland of Binh Hoa Nam increasingly rich and beautiful, reaching the advanced new rural standards.

Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Duc Hue District Party Committee - Lai Thanh Phu Quy emphasized: The national flag line has many profound political and social meanings, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, arousing national pride and the sense of responsibility of each citizen in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Currently, Duc Hue district has 3 border communes: My Binh, Binh Hoa Hung, My Thanh Tay and Binh Hoa Nam commune that have implemented the National Flag Road project with a total length of about 8.5km. Accordingly, the Youth Union of the communes will mobilize to replace the new flags on the occasion of celebrating major national holidays, important local events or flags that have faded over time.

The national flag line is a reminder of the revolutionary tradition and the great sacrifices of our ancestors so that today's generation can have a prosperous, happy and peaceful life. From then on, walking under the flag line, everyone feels proud and vows to continue writing the story of peace and building the homeland./.
