In 2024, the Youth Union's work and youth movement within the Provincial Police force achieved many commendable results, making a significant contribution to the cause of protecting security and order, and maintaining peace for the people.

According to Major Pham Tan Huynh Con, Head of the Youth Committee, Political Affairs Department, Provincial Police, with the motto "Drinking water, remember the source," the Provincial Police Youth Union has organized many meaningful activities such as the "Returning to the Source" journey , caring for martyrs' cemeteries, and cultural and sports exchanges. Through these activities, not only is patriotism fostered, but solidarity with other units is also strengthened.

The Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department also organized a series of activities to commemorate the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; organized trips to "red addresses" (historical sites) and held activities of the Young Theorists Club within the Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department.

The Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department organized a trip to a "historical site" and participated in political activities at the Gac Ma Martyrs Memorial Area.

At the same time, the organization held a "Journey Continuing the Tradition of Long An's Loyal and Resilient Spirit" at the Long An Loyal and Resilient Spirit Monument Park, where the entire population fought the enemy; participated in the Candlelight Ceremony to honor the heroes and martyrs at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery ; and organized four sessions, with 100 youth union members participating in the youth volunteer activity "Caring for the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery".

The Youth Union branches of the Public Security units and localities organized 20 trips to "red addresses" (historical revolutionary sites), and organized cultural, artistic, and sports activities on commemorative holidays. They also presented 216 gifts to families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers , families of martyrs in the People's Public Security, policy beneficiary families, core forces at the grassroots level, and former youth volunteers.

The Provincial Police Youth Union commends outstanding achievements of young police officers at the commune level.

Affirming its pioneering role in fulfilling its duties, the Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department has launched three emulation movements: "Pioneering and achieving merit for national security," "Creative youth," and "Youth volunteerism." Members of the Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department always take the lead and actively participate in peak periods of crime suppression and security operations to ensure security and order during national and departmental holidays, festivals, and anniversaries.

Together with the provincial police force, the youth of the provincial police force have proactively implemented a comprehensive range of professional measures, preventing any unexpected incidents and contributing to maintaining stability in security and order throughout the province.

Members of the Youth Union and young police officers of the province are actively and enthusiastically participating in the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime.

In order to effectively carry out state management work on social order and safety, the Youth Union branches at all levels within the Provincial Police have proactively coordinated with local authorities to actively participate in the effective implementation of the Prime Minister's Project 06 on "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030".

At the same time, the organization conducted direct awareness campaigns for citizens, union members, youth, students, and pupils on the Traffic Safety Law and safe driving skills; prevention and control of school violence; drug prevention and control; fire prevention and firefighting skills; etc., which were highly appreciated by the government and the people.

Many youth projects have been implemented effectively, such as the "Digitization of the Provincial Police's Traditional Room" by the Provincial Police Youth Committee, the "Youth Patrol" by the Can Giuoc District Police Youth Union, and the "Checkpoints and patrols to prevent and control smuggling" by the Economic Police Department Youth Union, etc.

Lieutenant Tran Bao Loc, from the Hiep Hoa Town Police, was honored as one of the 9 outstanding young citizens of the province in 2024.

The Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department also coordinated with the Tan An City Youth Union to sign an agreement to implement the "Youth's 4 Knows, 4 Don'ts Regarding Drugs" model, deploying it in the city to create social consensus and contribute to curbing the increase, preventing, and ultimately eliminating the harmful effects of drug abuse on young people and society as a whole.

With outstanding achievements, in 2024, the Youth Union of the Long An Provincial Police Department was honored to receive many awards: 1 Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union; 2 Certificates of Merit and a Flag of Excellence from the Provincial Youth Union; Senior Lieutenant Tran Bao Loc - Police officer of Hiep Hoa town, Duc Hoa district - was honored by the Provincial People's Committee as one of the 9 outstanding young citizens of the province; hundreds of union members and young people were commended for their achievements in crime prevention and control and union activities, affirming the pioneering spirit of the youth of the Long An Provincial Police Department.
