Speaking at the scientific conference "Uncle Ho with education, education with Uncle Ho" on May 12, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said that President Ho Chi Minh believed that education should not only equip knowledge, but also focus on training ethics, personality, emotions, and lifestyle, in order to create people who are both talented and virtuous, in which virtue is the foundation.

Emphasizing the most mentioned keywords are "self-study" and "lifelong learning", Minister Nguyen Kim Son said that President Ho Chi Minh's viewpoint on self-study not only emphasizes equipping knowledge, skills, developing foreign languages, accessing endless knowledge...

The viewpoint he aimed for was "self-education", which means self-development, self-cultivation, self-nurturing, self-regulation, self-shame, self-disgrace, knowing shame and being honest. Only such self-study is profound and unique.

The Minister said that today's workshop is also an important educational activity, so that the education sector can self-reflect and self-correct on a large scale.
