De Bruyne is in high demand this summer.

Last month, De Bruyne announced his departure from the Etihad Stadium after Manchester City's board did not renew his contract. The Belgian midfielder's current contract with Manchester City expires on June 30.

However, there is still a possibility that the 34-year-old could sign a short-term deal with Manchester City to play in the FIFA Club World Cup next month. De Bruyne has long-term interest from teams in MLS, Saudi Arabia, Europe and even England. The midfielder is currently considering offers.

According to The Athletic , De Bruyne prioritizes moving to the US to play to stabilize his family life. However, De Bruyne also left open the possibility of staying in the Premier League, as Aston Villa and Leeds United have contacted the Belgian player.

As for Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager wants De Bruyne for the FIFA Club World Cup. However, for that to happen, the English club must convince De Bruyne to sign a short-term contract.

The relationship between De Bruyne and the Manchester City board has deteriorated since the beginning of the year, after the midfielder publicly expressed his disappointment at not having his contract renewed.

De Bruyne once bitterly shared: "I didn't receive any offers all year. I had a short talk with Sports Director Txiki Begiristain and CEO Ferran Soriano, and that was it. They made a decision. They thought I couldn't continue playing at the top level."
