The overall management of this Zalo group is assigned to the ward police, ensuring daily operation to disseminate legal knowledge, promote crime prevention, and receive and process information from citizens. Thus, the effective use of social media has become a powerful tool to support the police force in gathering information, resolving public security issues, and preventing the emergence of hotspots.

In Quang Trung ward (Uong Bi city), over the past few days, social media pages and groups established by residential groups, neighborhoods, and associations have actively supported functional forces in the task of disseminating information and guiding people to proactively prevent and promptly avert fire and explosion risks during the hot season. The information disseminated is comprehensive and diverse, ranging from fire safety requirements for houses combined with production and business activities, and apartment buildings, to regulations on equipping fire extinguishing equipment, alarm systems, and prohibiting the installation of metal cages ("tiger cages") on balconies. Official information provided through images and articles online is easier to store and share, creating a better reach than traditional methods. And when households quickly grasp the information, subsequent outreach, inspection, and direct guidance are carried out more quickly and easily, saving considerable time and effort.

It can be seen that many residential areas in the province have proactively and resolutely deployed social media platforms to carry out the important task of maintaining security and order. Thanks to exploiting the superior features of cyberspace and the widespread use of smartphones, local authorities and a large number of people have better connections to exchange information smoothly, quickly, and conveniently. Especially when receiving information through social media, the police quickly classify and verify it; if there is evidence and legitimate information, they handle it according to regulations. Cases of spreading false information or acts that insult the dignity and reputation of others are also promptly corrected by the authorities. Many violations of the law have been prevented and dealt with strictly. Public opinion is also guided by official information, clarifying newly arising complex events and phenomena.

The practical experience after three months of operating under the two-tiered local police model in Quang Ninh shows that the proactive and flexible organization of forces, the high sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers, and the synchronized coordination with the government have created positive changes and strengthened trust among the people. Initial results show that the commune-level police force has quickly grasped and implemented tasks in the new situation, even effectively playing a frontline role in maintaining security and order, and firmly consolidating the people's security posture at the grassroots level.
