The drama series "Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky " is currently a hit on VTV's prime time slot, thanks to its captivating cast of young, dynamic actors and their strong performances.
Among them, the male lead, Chải, played by Long Vũ, is a character who has received much love from the audience; the actor is the son of artist Vân Dung.

In a recent television interview, Van Dung revealed that because she enjoyed watching VTV's "The Magical Hat" program hosted by MC Long Vu, she named her son after giving birth.
"After hearing about it, MC Long Vũ also messaged me asking, 'Does Vân Dung love me that she would name her child Long Vũ?'" the female comedian humorously recounted.
Vân Dung also didn't hesitate to "badmouth" her son, saying that Long Vũ was always late, that his homeroom teacher once lost points in her performance evaluation, and that his voice teacher at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film - where Long Vũ used to study - had to call Vân Dung because he was nowhere to be seen during an exam. Therefore, she often had to call her son to come to class.
"At home, Long Vu's father plays the good guy, but once inside, I play the villain, to the point that my son has set my phone's contact list to 'Come home immediately'," the actress said.
Long Vũ also said that every time Vân Dung's mother called him, the first thing she would say was, "Vũ, where are you? Come home right away!" That's why he saved her name in his phone!
Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , Van Dung said that right after graduating, Long Vu was very eager and proactive in going to film castings. It was all Vu's own initiative to go to castings; the actress had no information about the films and did not influence him in any way.
"After graduating from university, Long Vu stayed at home, just waiting to see if any films came up for casting. He often asked, 'Why don't I get called to act in films? Am I too ugly, Mom?'"
I told her, "Calm down, my dear. Artists like Cong Ly, Quang Thang, Truong Giang… aren't handsome, but they still make films because of their talent and talent," artist Van Dung recounted.

Van Dung said that when she learned her daughter wanted to apply to the Acting Department at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film, she advised her that the profession is very hard and unprofitable, and that it would be very difficult without real talent.
Secondly, you have to be really good, otherwise the profession will lose its top players very quickly, but my son is determined to pursue this career. Currently, I'm also nervous about each step of his growth.
The actress said: "Acting is a very precarious profession; even if you want support, it's very difficult to survive if the audience doesn't appreciate you. You need to have real talent to have a long-term career. Being the 'child of a powerful family' without any real talent will also make it very difficult to succeed."
The female comedian recounted that Long Vũ is a very affectionate person who cares deeply about his mother. Whenever he comes home from somewhere, he has a habit of buying her little gifts.
"When my son performed and earned money, he gave it all to me to keep. When he received his first monthly salary, Long Vũ gave me a gold necklace, which moved me so much I almost cried," Vân Dung recounted about her son.
Furthermore, Chải from "Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky" is quite simple; despite being the child of a famous artist, Long Vũ doesn't dress up or use trendy items.
She confided, "Vu never asks me to buy anything. He doesn't like designer clothes. Many times, seeing that he had too few clothes, I offered him money to buy them, but he wouldn't take it. He only has two pairs of pants and two pairs of shoes that he alternates between. He uses whichever car I give him and doesn't ask for anything. Once, when his sandals were torn, he even asked me to take them to the market to get them sewn so he could wear them again."

When a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper asked, "Long Vu is currently the hottest young actor for his role as Chai in the film 'Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky ,' how do you feel?", Van Dung replied, "I'm happy but also worried, because he's only had a few films and is only just starting to be recognized by the audience, but the road ahead is still very long. I hope he maintains his passion and the courage of an artist to pursue his career..."
Van Dung also shared that if her son gets married in the future, she will not live with her daughter-in-law but will live separately so that her son and daughter-in-law can be independent. Furthermore, due to the generation gap, she will not interfere with how her son and daughter-in-law raise their grandchildren.
"I also hope my son will find a woman who loves him. I'm not a difficult mother-in-law. If I love my daughter-in-law, then my children will love me," she confided.
Long Vũ is the son of artist Vân Dung, born in 2001, and previously studied acting at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film.
Before the film "Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky ," Long Vũ had appeared in several supporting roles in films such as: "The War Without Borders ," "Not Afraid to Get Married for Just a Reason ," and a small role in "Our Family Suddenly Has Fun "...
But it wasn't until "Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky " that Long Vũ truly made a groundbreaking breakthrough.
