Recently, in a conversation with MC Huyen Chau on the talk show Hidden Champions - The Silent Hero , Van Hugo opened up and shared about her life journey. It's a journey filled with ups and downs, and valuable lessons about love, happiness, and personal growth.

MC Van Hugo admitted that she once lost her way in love. She put her partner above everything else, only to realize she had lost herself... Van Hugo said: "Before, I was happy when someone did something good for me, but now I'm happy doing something good for others." Finding true love after setbacks, Van Hugo approached her current partner with a completely different mindset. It's a relationship that only came about when she stopped chasing impulsive emotions and instead sought peace and a stable haven. According to Van Hugo, she found her husband – he's not only her lover but also the father of her children, a "steadfast and kind" man. The female MC realized that when you love, love with all your heart but don't lose your reason. Women should be clear-headed in choosing the right person and never forget to love themselves. "Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Happiness comes from appreciating what you have and constantly striving to become the best version of yourself," she shared. According to the female MC, happiness is not just confined to romantic love. She affirmed: "Love comes from everywhere, not just from one man. Family, work, friends... all intertwine to create a vibrant and colorful picture of life." To become the mature and strong woman she is today, Van Hugo said she found a way to overcome the dark days of her past. She went through pregnancy and childbirth abroad, faced postpartum depression, and suffered immense losses in 2017: no career, no family, and severely weakened health.

Those seemingly insurmountable challenges not only failed to break her but also forged a resilient and strong-willed Van Hugo. Van Hugo's optimism and unwavering spirit have inspired audiences, especially women facing life's challenges. Van Hugo believes she found light by sharing love and finding joy in small things. Caring for her children, doing charity work, pursuing her passions, learning new skills... all helped her "flip the switch," rediscovering her positive energy.

Van Hugo, whose real name is Thanh Van (born in 1985), is a familiar face on many popular programs such as: Vui cùng Hugo, Đường lên đỉnh Olympia, Vietnam's Got Talent, Vì bạn xứng đáng ... She experienced a divorce at the age of 27 and raised her son alone. After many years of emotional turmoil, Van Hugo now enjoys a happy life with her businessman husband who works in the education sector. She gave birth to her second child, a daughter, in May 2022.
