Within its scope of responsibility, the Tay Can Tho Bailiff Office acts in accordance with Decision No. 3525/QD-UBND dated December 10, 2021, of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province, which permits the conversion of its operational type.

Tay Can Tho Bailiff Office Perform the following tasks:

Firstly, the bailiff's office serves documents from the Court and Civil Enforcement Agencies, or from parties involved, based on mutual agreement. Some court documents are served at the request of the parties, such as decisions applying temporary emergency measures issued by the Court at the request of a party in civil or commercial cases. The bailiff's office can serve documents in all cases, including criminal cases, across multiple locations. When organizing the enforcement of judgments, bailiffs have the right to apply measures to secure the enforcement of judgments as stipulated in the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement, such as: freezing accounts; temporarily seizing assets and documents; temporarily suspending the registration, transfer, or alteration of the status of assets. Bailiffs have the same rights and obligations as enforcement officers, and carry out the procedures stipulated in the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement.
