According to the Trinh family genealogy in Trieu Son commune, Grand Marshal Trinh Kha, born in 1403, possessed extraordinary qualities. Growing up amidst the Ming invasion, he joined Le Loi's army and was one of the 19 participants in the Lung Nhai oath ceremony (1416). Because of his contributions, in the year of Mau Than (1428), after ascending the throne, Le Loi trusted Trinh Kha and entrusted him with many important positions and key roles in the court.

During his campaigns in various places, Trịnh Khả once stopped to rest in Trạm Lộ (now Triệu Sơn commune). His thirteenth son, Trịnh Công Hựu, rose to the position of Minister of the Board of Revenue and Grand Tutor, Duke of Thọ Quốc. According to historical records, from a young age, Trịnh Công Hựu possessed exceptional intelligence, strength, and broad knowledge. He served as an official under the Lê dynasty, receiving numerous titles and land grants, and eventually settled in Trạm Lộ village, Cổ Định district, Tĩnh Gia prefecture, Thanh Hoa province.

The Trinh Huu family ancestral temple has a history spanning over 500 years. It is a place of worship for Grand Marshal Trinh Kha, Duke of Tho Quoc Trinh Cong Huu, and many other revered ancestors who contributed to the nation throughout its history. The Trinh Huu ancestral temple was built in a traditional architectural style. However, over time and due to historical events, the temple suffered serious deterioration. In 1993, with contributions from descendants of the family, the temple was renovated and upgraded. Currently, it still preserves many valuable historical artifacts, such as ancestral tablets, altars, shrines, and incense burners.

In 2013, the Trinh family and the Trinh Huu ancestral temple were classified as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic and scenic spot. Every year, on the 26th day of the 7th lunar month, Trieu Son commune, in coordination with the Trinh family, organizes a ceremony to offer incense at the Trinh Huu ancestral temple to commemorate Grand Marshal Trinh Kha and Duke Tho Quoc Trinh Cong Huu - those who contributed to the founding and laying of a solid foundation for the prosperous development of the family.

Mr. Trinh Huu Son, head of the Trinh Huu clan, said: "Building on the clan's traditions, over the years, the Trinh Huu clan in Trieu Son commune has not only been known for its tradition of studiousness and active participation in economic development, but also as a model clan in self-governance of security and order. The steering committee and members of the clan council actively encourage clan members to strictly abide by all policies, guidelines, and laws of the Party and State, actively participate in crime prevention, detection, and reporting, and define the roles and responsibilities of leaders in organizations and household heads in managing and educating their children. All branches and households within the clan have signed commitments to ensure that no members violate the law. As a result, after 12 years of building the self-governing clan model for security and order in Trieu Son commune, many important results have been achieved in implementing the policy of socializing crime prevention and promoting the role of the people in ensuring security and order." "Self-reliance and socio-economic development, poverty reduction in the locality."
