Ms. Thai Thuy Duong (born in 1989, living in Ho Chi Minh City), shared: “Hearing the news that the largest flower and ornamental plant “capital” in the West was organizing the Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival for the first time, my family and I came to Sa Dec City very early. My whole family was very surprised when Dong Thap province organized such a grand flower festival. I have visited many places where flowers and ornamental plants are grown, but when I came to Sa Dec City, everything was completely different, because each flower basket was meticulously cared for, so impressive that I really loved it.”
Sharing the same feeling about the overwhelming beauty when coming to the Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival, Ms. Vang Thi Nhien from Ward 9, Vinh Long City, said: “The Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival left me with many deep impressions, especially the elaborate and beautiful arrangement of flower and ornamental models. The organization was thoughtful with a grand scale, bustling atmosphere, many activities for visitors to experience. The "Hoa dang festival night" is held at the area of Sa Dec City Square Lake, full of warmth and meaning. Or the culinary competition "Dishes made from flour and decorated with Sa Dec flowers" to honor the traditional craft village of rice flour, flowers and ornamental plants of Sa Dec, which has been formed and developed for more than 100 years.

Appreciating the idea of organizing the Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival, comrade Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, said: “I hope that flower and ornamental plant growers in Sa Dec City will continue to innovate and apply appropriate and synchronous scientific and technical solutions. Along with that, continue the indigenous knowledge and experience and preserve the environment, respect nature. Pay attention to enhancing the value of traditional craft villages, change the mindset of "flower and ornamental plant production" to the mindset of "flower and ornamental plant economy", add more values to improve people's lives. Sa Dec flower village not only has many beautiful flowers, but flower growers must also be more beautiful, worthy of the unique cultural traditions of Dong Thap homeland, imbued with "Love for the land, love for flowers".
