There were no surprises when the Vietnamese women's volleyball team dominated the game with the strongest lineup, and at the same time fully exploited the poor first-step receptions of the U21 Vietnam team to create a big gap, with 12 set-points.

However, U21 Vietnam came back stronger than ever, the efforts of Dang Hong and his teammates helped them win 8 consecutive points before losing 21-25 in set 1.

In the second set, with a poor first step, U21 Vietnam slipped. Many of the young girls' first passes sent the ball bouncing to the other side of the net, creating conditions for the seniors to score easily. A relatively leisurely set for Vi Quynh and her teammates, it was difficult for any surprises to happen in the rest of the match. The U21 Vietnam team lost to their seniors with a score of 13-25.

A similar scenario occurred in set 3 when the Vietnamese women's volleyball team continued to maintain their dominant position. Keeping the duo Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen and the middle blocker with good attacking ability - Tran Thi Bich Thuy is a clear sign that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet wants to end the set quickly to save energy for tomorrow's semi-final match.

This caused U21 Vietnam to fall into a complete deadlock: unable to attack or defend as the first pass continued to have problems - there was even a situation where two young players fought over a pass and crashed into each other. The gap widened, and the Vietnamese women's team won easily 25-9, to qualify for the semi-finals of this year's VTV Cup.

In the end, Vietnam beat U21 Vietnam 3-0 (25-21; 25-13; 25-9).
