Black Rapper: "I don't know how to write healing music."

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Rapper Den makes a surprise comeback with a new song, recounting his reflections on his journey to find peace amidst life's many challenges.

The music video "Lãng đãng" by rapper Đen, released on the evening of July 29th, is receiving a lot of attention from fans. After almost a day of release, the video has nearly half a million views and thousands of comments.

The male rapper stated that "Lãng đãng" (Drowsy) is a song that contains his reflections on a peaceful journey. Notably, this is a rare song where Đen raps and sings the chorus himself, without any other singer contributing vocals.

"Lãng đãng" has a gentle, narrative melody with poetic lyrics. The song brings the intimate, spontaneous yet somewhat dreamy and pensive side of Đen's personality closer to the audience.

The song also showcases the characteristic wordplay of Black music . Many lines are particularly appealing to listeners, such as: "Going on a journey for a day, even if you don't fill a basket, you'll still have a small one full"; "I want to chew on the grass and trees as if I've just gone through many days of starvation"...

In the music video, the pristine imagery of nature, along with moments of Den walking alone in the forest, touching each leaf and the trunk of centuries-old trees, and sitting on the porch of a wooden house, is said to evoke a sense of peace in viewers.

Den shared that, for him, peace means living contentedly, being grateful, and slowly enjoying the little things. Currently, he believes happiness is observing and listening to nature, and returning to being himself – the simplest and most authentic version of himself.

Through the song, he also affirmed, "I don't know how to write healing music because I'm not a seamstress." He believes that everyone can be independent and capable of improving themselves without relying on others.

According to the rapper, when each person takes responsibility for their own life and finds joy in it, all worries will gradually disappear.
