DA NANG, THE MOST LIVABLE CITY IN VIETNAM

Việt NamViệt Nam03/03/2024

Known as the largest tourist center in Central Vietnam, Da Nang is always dynamic and vibrant under the sun and wind. Green mountains, green rivers, green seas, white wind, white sky, white sand. A beautiful city on the banks of the Han River and the East Sea, with a charm unlike any other coastal city, Da Nang has transformed itself in a short time, surprising visitors, those returning from afar, and even those living in the heart of Da Nang when they unexpectedly take a look back. The people of Da Nang must truly love their city to be so welcoming and worthy of the title "the friendliest city" in Vietnam in the eyes of their family and foreign friends.

Visit the Golden Bridge – Ba Na Hills

Located within the Sun World Ba Na Hills ecosystem, the Golden Bridge is the only bridge in Da Nang that doesn't cross a river, but instead sits atop a high mountain, like a silk ribbon pulled from the heart of the mountain and supported by giant hands. Visitors can admire and be proud of a Vietnamese architectural masterpiece that has captivated international media. In addition, Ba Na Hills offers visitors the experience of four seasons in one day, the natural landscape of the pristine forests stretching across Mount Chua, and a vibrant, festive atmosphere.

Immerse yourself in the sea.

Visitors to Da Nang certainly cannot miss its refreshing beaches, such as My Khe Beach with its vast rows of casuarina trees, one of the 50 most beautiful beaches on the planet; Nam O Reef, a pristine and romantic place with moss-covered rocks scattered along the waves; Pham Van Dong Beach – Da Nang's most modern public beach with a full range of amenities and tourist services; or the rustic Ghenh Bang, with just a few makeshift stalls and a handful of snorkeling masks provided by locals for visitors to explore the coral reefs peeking out at the water's edge.

Try street food.

Walking around the streets of Da Nang, it's easy to find a stall selling grilled rice paper or pounded rice cakes, thanks to their simplicity and accessibility to all, regardless of wealth or social status. A simple wooden table, topped with chili peppers and garlic under a tarp or plastic sheet, sits in a small alley. For something more "fancy," there's the visually appealing and delicious shrimp pancake, or the signature dish that always deserves to be called Da Nang's signature: beef sausage, so distinctly Da Nang beef sausage that it's impossible to take it outside the city.
