(HNMO) - On April 26, the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) said that it had been granted four exclusive patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Administration (USPTO), bringing the total number of patents granted in the US to 4.
The four newly-recognized inventions are all authored by staff and engineers of Viettel High-Tech Industry Corporation, a unit of Viettel Group.
Only in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, Viettel has 14 more exclusive inventions in the US, 1,5 times higher than the total number of patents granted in the previous 3 years. Viettel is currently the Vietnamese enterprise with the most patents protected by the US in all 3 fields of military, civil and telecommunications.
Viettel is one of the leading enterprises in the field of patent registration in Vietnam with 505 patent applications and 94 granted patents. The average growth rate of Viettel's patent applications is 1,5 times higher than the national average in the period 2017-2022.
