VRG and Becamex IDC play a pivotal role in the province's development.

(BDO) On the morning of May 13, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee had a working session with the Party Committee of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG), led by Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of VGR. Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Becamex IDC and VSIP.

At the meeting, the two sides approved the report on the implementation of the contents of the cooperation program signed between Binh Duong province and the VGR Party Committee. Accordingly, up to now, the basic implementation contents have been achieved, including the completion of the steering group to review and remove difficulties and obstacles in VRG's land use projects such as: Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park Expansion Project - Phase II, Rach Bap Industrial Park, Long Tan Industrial Cluster, Nam Tan Uyen Residential Area, An Tay Residential Area, etc.

Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC, said that in the coming time, the joint venture between Becamex IDC, VSIP and VRG will focus on investing and implementing key national projects on transportation, science and technology and innovation, cooperating to invest in key national projects such as: belt roads, metro lines and railways, developing science and technology parks, science and technology industrial parks, data centers...

Mr. Le Thanh Hung, General Director of VGR shared that the signing of the cooperation agreement between VRG and Becamex IDC and VSIP will promote the advantages of finance, technology, infrastructure, experience and available human resources to develop industrial infrastructure, urban areas and social housing.

In addition, the joint venture will cooperate in large-scale energy production and supply such as solar power farms, wind power, gas power and other clean energy fields, to provide a stable energy source in the province, contributing to the goal of carbon neutrality "Net Zero" by 2050...

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Toan, Director of the Department of Finance, reported on the results of coordination between Binh Duong province and the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG).

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the results of the cooperation between VRG and Binh Duong province in the past time, as well as the development orientations in the coming time. The cooperation between Becamex IDC and VGR needs to play a pivotal role, pioneering in coordination work, leading in the development tasks according to the orientation of the province.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee noted that development cooperation must be based on VGR's planning as well as the provincial planning approved by the Prime Minister, in the period of 2025-2030 and vision to 2050, in which environmental protection factors need to be given top priority. VRG and Becamex IDC need to coordinate well in the task of planning 3,000 hectares to relocate industrial parks from the South to the North and planning the development of the 1,500-hectare Lai Hung Complex...
