"Sing! Asia 2025" is a 30-day music competition held on a cruise ship, organized by the iQiYi platform (China). The judges include famous artists in Asia such as Dan Truong, Truong Leung Dinh, Vu Truong Tinh, Lam Chi Dinh, Su Huu Bang, and Co Cu Ky.

In the quarter-final round filmed in Hong Kong (China), broadcast on the afternoon of June 27, Phuong My Chi sang "Bong phu hoa" (composed by DTAP), inspired by the story "Nguoi con gai Nam Xuong". The highlight of the performance was the chorus performed in Chinese and the high notes. The performance has currently reached more than 1.7 million views and is in the top 3 trending on YouTube.
Previously, in the episode recorded in Singapore, Phuong My Chi performed the mashup "Ly Bac Bo" (Ba Cong Di Cho Troi Mua, Ly Cay Da, Ba Rang Ba Ri, Dan Xe Bo) composed by DTAP, inspired by the cultural life of the Northern people. She brought the traditional drum dance to the stage, making judges Truong Luong Dinh and Thai Nha Kien dance along.

In the first performance of the program, Phuong My Chi sang "Buon trang" (composed by DTAP), partly inspired by the work "Day thon Vi Da" by poet Han Mac Tu. In addition to the large number of views on the program's YouTube channel, Phuong My Chi also appeared on a number of news sites such as QQ, Guangming, Sinchew... Phuong My Chi's initial success reminded many viewers of the fact that there were also many Vietnamese artists who went to China to compete in music programs such as Chi Pu, Ly Ly, Suni Ha Linh (SUNI).
Chi Pu achieved much success when participating in the program "Dap Gio 2023". Winning this competition opened up many opportunities for the female singer in the Chinese entertainment market. Chi Pu is the only Vietnamese artist to participate in the New Year's Eve program of Hunan TV with Vuong Hac De, Duong Tu, Dan Kien Thu, Huynh Hieu Minh... She also opened a restaurant in China and has a huge fan base in this country of billions of people.
Following Chi Pu, Suni Ha Linh participated in "Dap Gio" a year later, but unlike Chi Pu, Suni Ha Linh was lackluster in terms of achievements and also became a "sinner" of Vietnamese fans. The unique, distinct local flavors are preserved and promoted in an attractive and prominent way throughout Phuong My Chi's performances.
Insiders believe that Phuong My Chi invested all her money in her first time participating in a music competition in China. Phuong My Chi's team also put a lot of effort into costumes, staging, and elaborate props, consistent with the melody and message of the song. As for Chi Pu, she made a difference through her performance to make up for her limited singing voice.
