| Many temples throughout the province are beautifully decorated, catering to the needs of people visiting during the spring festival. |
Almost every year, the family of Ms. Nguyen Kim Oanh, residing in Group 90 (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), participates in the Duom Temple Festival in Phu Luong Commune (held on the 6th day of the first lunar month). For her, participating in the festival is an opportunity for her children to learn more about the hero Duong Tu Minh and the beautiful customs of the nation.
Ms. Kim Oanh said: "To ensure safety, while participating in traffic, my family always abides by the law, does not encroach on other lanes, does not speed, does not overtake recklessly, and the driver does not drink alcohol or beer..."
Not only Ms. Oanh, but many families in Thai Nguyen have also raised their awareness when participating in festivals in the province as well as when visiting temples, pagodas, and historical sites. Besides strictly complying with the Road Traffic Law, people also park their cars and motorbikes in designated areas; and avoid pushing and shoving when offering incense at festival venues, temples, and pagodas...
Along with raising awareness regarding traffic safety and the spring festival, the people of Thai Nguyen have displayed very civilized behavior. Ms. Le Thanh Ha, from Phu Xa 4 residential group, Tich Luong ward, said: Participating in festivals and visiting temples and pagodas to pray for good fortune for the family, national prosperity, and peace is a beautiful tradition of our nation. Thai Nguyen is a locality with many temples, pagodas, and shrines, and its festival activities are diverse, attracting a large number of people to visit during the spring festival at the beginning of the year.

| People in Thai Nguyen have become more aware of the importance of going out during the spring and participating in festivals. |
Joining the crowds of people celebrating the Lunar New Year, we noticed that people's awareness of saving money and protecting the environment has improved. When attending festivals or visiting temples and pagodas, people no longer prepare elaborate offerings that are expensive and wasteful, but instead simply enjoy the scenery and pay their respects with reverence.
Instead of scattering loose change everywhere, many people contribute in the form of charitable donations to restore and renovate the structures. The biggest change is the disappearance of the indiscriminate burning of paper money and offerings, which causes environmental pollution.
In modern life, people's spring festival activities have undergone positive and civilized changes, while still preserving the beautiful traditional cultural features of their homeland. To ensure that people's spring festivities are safe, joyful, healthy, and economical, the province has directed relevant agencies and departments to organize cultural, artistic, sports , and festival activities in diverse and practical forms. At the same time, it has effectively implemented social security and welfare policies, providing support for the Lunar New Year to those who have contributed to the revolution, policy beneficiary families, poor households, and ethnic minorities in remote areas.
Disease prevention and control measures, as well as ensuring a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment at historical sites, temples, and pagodas, were also directed and implemented to meet the needs of people visiting and celebrating the Lunar New Year.
