Over the past period, the "Supporting Youth in Starting and Developing Businesses" movement has been implemented synchronously by all levels of the Youth Union in the province, spreading widely and deeply. Through this movement, many young union members have demonstrated dynamism and creativity in labor and production, daring to think and act, turning innovative startup ideas into reality. As a result, they have risen to achieve legitimate wealth, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Starting from scratch, but with courage, youthful energy, and a spirit of overcoming difficulties, young man Ha Van Tieu from Trai Giua village, Dam Ha commune (Dam Ha district) has built a thriving business, earning hundreds of millions of dong annually. In 2018, recognizing the potential for growth in the fish and squid cake making industry, Mr. Tieu boldly invested and established the Khanh Dan Food Processing and Trading Cooperative.

The products of Khanh Dan Cooperative have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products, sold nationwide with a production volume of tens of tons per month, generating annual revenue of over 2 billion VND. Not only focusing on production for traditional markets (markets, industrial kitchens, schools, etc.), Mr. Tieu has also promoted the application of technology, leveraging the advantages of e-commerce and social media to sell products online. Currently, up to 90% of the cooperative's orders are online. The cooperative currently provides regular employment for 10 local workers with salaries ranging from 7-10 million VND per person per month.

The project "FarmGO Farm Management Software Platform" by author Vu Duc Tuan (Quang Yen Town) has successfully advanced through the semi-finals to compete in the national finals of the "Searching for Innovative Startup Ideas and Projects 2023" competition.

In Quang Yen town, Mr. Vu Duc Tuan, Director of HIPOTECH Technology Co., Ltd., has inspired many young people to confidently pursue and realize their startup ideas.

FarmGo, a farm management software founded by Mr. Vu Duc Tuan, is an application running on smartphones and computers. It is designed and built according to the format of businesses that have been operating in the livestock sector for many years, and follows the templates of agricultural production practice standards such as VietGAP, LifSap, and GlobalGAP. FarmGo provides information on all aspects of livestock, from breeding stock to harvesting, to traceability platforms in Vietnam and around the world.

FarmGo's goal is to help farms directly participate in the digital agricultural network, aiming to build "Smart Agriculture". In just over two years since launching the FarmGo software in 2022, HIPOTECH Technology Co., Ltd. has acquired approximately 1,000 business partners, including farm owners and cooperatives nationwide.

Mr. Ha Van Tieu and Mr. Vu Duc Tuan are just two of hundreds of young people in Quang Ninh who dare to think big, dare to act, are ready to overcome challenges, and nurture their passion and dreams of successful entrepreneurship. Along with their own efforts, they also received support and guidance from the Youth Union at all levels in implementing their startup projects.

For example, Vu Duc Tuan's FarmGo farm management software project won first prize in the "Quang Ninh Province Creative Startup Ideas" competition in 2023 and made it into the top 10 of the "Searching for Creative Startup Ideas and Projects in Northern Provinces" competition organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in 2023. Through this, Tuan received further guidance from experts and reputable businesses to develop his project. Over the past three years, the Youth Union at all levels throughout the province has provided support.   Over 200 youth-led startups, including 38   Innovative startups operate in various flexible and suitable forms.

To provide young people with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, from 2022-2024, the entire Youth Union organized 122 activities to promote and raise awareness about entrepreneurship, innovation, and entrepreneurship linked to digital transformation for over 30,000 young people. These activities focused on training to improve entrepreneurial knowledge, transferring science and technology in agriculture; and skills in applying technology in production, business, and product consumption on e-commerce platforms. Simultaneously, the Youth Union annually organized the "Quang Ninh Province Creative Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition"; a youth innovation festival; exhibitions of innovative models and entrepreneurial products by young people; and various exchange and trade promotion programs organized by the Provincial Investment and Entrepreneurship Club.

In particular, the "Quang Ninh Province Creative Startup Ideas Competition," held annually since 2018, has created a valuable platform for young people to network and exchange ideas. In the last three years, the competition has received 162 startup ideas and projects from young people, students, and university students. Each year, the number and quality of ideas and projects have increased, clearly demonstrating the innovative and creative spirit of youth.

Furthermore, activities supporting young people in accessing preferential loan sources to create jobs and develop the economy have been effectively implemented. By the end of 2024, the total outstanding loan balance at the Social Policy Bank managed by the Youth Union reached VND 569.06 billion. Activities connecting young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses with investors in the province to support product output and sales; and supporting rural youth in participating in product introductions and displays in trade promotion programs organized by the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association continue to be strengthened.

With their courage, determination, and the support of the Youth Union, young people can realize their aspirations of starting businesses, becoming wealthy, and contributing their youthful energy to building a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
