During the implementation of the two-tiered local government system, Party committees and organizations held training courses to supplement political theory knowledge for new Party members, consolidate revolutionary ideals, enhance political responsibility, and form correct thinking methods for Party members in the new situation. In practice, in Cho Moi commune, since the merger and implementation of the two-tiered local government system in July 2025, the commune's Political Center has affirmed its role in political theory education at the grassroots level. According to Ms. Dang Thi Kim Xuyen, Director of the Cho Moi Commune Political Center, in the first five months of 2026, the unit organized seven training courses on Party awareness, political theory for new Party members, and specialized courses, with nearly 500 participants, including one course on Party awareness for 87 12th-grade students from high schools in six communes. The center ensures that 100% of cadres and Party members study and understand the Party's resolutions; it organizes current affairs information conferences, contributing to raising political awareness among grassroots cadres.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Soan, Principal of Kien An Kindergarten in Cho Moi commune, believes that political theory training for cadres and Party members is essential in the current period. It not only provides a foundation for each cadre and Party member to enhance their political acumen and maintain their ideological stance, but also helps them to better understand the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, enabling them to apply them effectively in their work. "Through studying political theory, I have a clearer understanding of my responsibilities in fulfilling my assigned tasks. At the same time, I have applied this knowledge to improve my sense of responsibility in managing the kindergarten, building a safe and friendly educational environment for children, fostering unity among teachers, and improving the quality of childcare and education," Ms. Soan shared.
Following the example of President Ho Chi Minh, Dr. Le Truong Tuan Huy was selected by the Clinical Party Branch 2 of the Cho Moi Medical Center Party Committee to attend a Party awareness course organized by the Cho Moi Commune Political Center. According to Dr. Huy, healthcare workers interact with patients daily, experiencing their pain, anxiety, and expectations. Therefore, in addition to professional knowledge, healthcare workers need to cultivate their ideology, ethics, and spirit of service to the people. “Studying Ho Chi Minh's political theory, ideology, ethics, and style has helped me better understand the teaching that a physician should be like a mother, thereby reminding myself to work with responsibility, medical ethics, and dedication. In my profession, I constantly learn, update my knowledge, and hone my skills to better diagnose, treat, and care for patients. For me, the responsibility of cadres and Party members in the medical field lies in each shift, each patient record, each examination, and each careful professional decision to reduce risks, treatment time, and burdens for patients,” Dr. Huy shared.
These results have made a significant contribution to maintaining ideological stability and creating unity in action at the grassroots level. Studying political theory helps cadres and Party members develop political fortitude, scientific thinking methods, and political responsibility to the Party, the people, and the demands of development.
