Immediately after receiving instructions from the Central Organizing Committee, the Ministry of Public Security and the Son La Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of issuing and exchanging party membership cards on the basis of the national database on population, identification and electronic authentication, the Son La Provincial Police mobilized maximum forces, organized a peak campaign to collect documents and determined to complete on time by August 22.
In remote, isolated, and especially disadvantaged communes of Son La province, the Commune Police force does not mind the dangerous roads, going to each village and each household, especially those with old, weak, or sick party members, to directly receive application files for renewal.

Being present in Bac Yen commune in recent days, we witnessed the urgent and responsible working atmosphere of the commune police officers and soldiers when coordinating with the provincial police force to deploy mobile teams.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Hung Son, Head of Bac Yen Commune Police, said: “The implementation of issuing and exchanging party membership cards based on population data and electronic identification aims to collect and accurately verify party member information, build a national database of party organizations and party members. This is an important step in the process of standardizing and modernizing party member management, contributing to building a clean and strong Party in the digital transformation period.”
Through investigation, it is known that up to now, Bac Yen Commune Police have received 1,688 records/1,766 party members (reaching 95.5%) belonging to affiliated party cells and 55 records of party members temporarily residing in the area.

Not only focusing on the task of issuing and exchanging party membership cards, the Commune Police also perform regular tasks such as issuing citizen identification cards, verifying electronic identification, confirming residence, etc.
For party members who are old and weak, the Commune Police have arranged for officers to go directly to their homes to collect information, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, gaining the trust and recognition of the people.
In the mountainous commune of Xim Vang, although the rugged terrain and isolated traffic make deployment difficult, police officers and soldiers here are still striving to complete the assigned task of issuing and exchanging party membership cards.

Talking to us, Senior Lieutenant Luong Quoc Van, an officer of Xim Vang Commune Police, shared: “The road is far away, many sections have to be walked, but we always encourage each other to overcome difficulties and be determined to complete the task. Each special case of party members receiving on-site support is the motivation for us to make more efforts.”
Thanks to the efforts of police officers and soldiers in the communes, many party members in difficult circumstances in remote and disadvantaged communes and villages have been served attentively and on schedule.
Party member Giang A Chu, born in 1958, Pa Cu Sang village, Xim Vang commune, emotionally said: “I suffered from a stroke for many years. The commune police came to my house to complete the card exchange procedure for me very quickly, enthusiastically and thoughtfully.”

In the case of Mr. Phang A Di, born in 1950, Phinh Ho village, Xim Vang commune, whose leg was necrotic and had to be amputated, the commune police also came to his house to help him complete his application. By August 20, Xim Vang commune police had received 371 applications/425 party members (87.3%).
According to statistics, by August 20, the entire Son La province had received 80,381 records/91,252 party members, reaching over 88%. Of which, the provincial police directly received 5,044 records; the commune-level police and other party organizations received 75,337 records.

The implementation of issuing and exchanging party membership cards in a digital environment not only contributes to building a modern administration, but also enhances the effectiveness of the Party's leadership and management of cadres and party members.
The issuance and exchange of party membership cards, which are being focused on in Son La province, is also a step to concretize the Project on developing population data applications, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the new situation.
During the peak days, the image of police officers and soldiers crossing streams and forests to serve party members' homes left many emotions, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, devotion to political tasks, and the trust of the people.
