General Secretary and President To Lam requested the Artillery-Missile Command to strongly innovate training, drills, combat readiness, and develop the art of Vietnamese artillery-missile warfare.

On the morning of June 29th, in Hanoi , the Party Committee of the Artillery-Missile Command solemnly organized a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Artillery-Missile Corps' traditional day (June 29, 1946 - June 29, 2026) and to receive the First Class Order of National Defense.

General Secretary and President To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, attended and delivered a speech at the commemoration ceremony.

Commending and congratulating the Artillery-Missile Corps on its exceptionally outstanding achievements, General Secretary and President To Lam requested that the Artillery-Missile Command proactively advise the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on force planning, strategic deployment, organizational structure, and combat plans.

Promoting mastery of science and technology, digital transformation, modernization of weapons and equipment, and enhancing logistics, technical capabilities, and the defense industry ; proactively developing appropriate methods for ensuring logistics and technical support, preventing any loss of safety for personnel, weapons, equipment, warehouses, information, data, and military secrets.

The General Secretary and President affirmed that the tradition has been very glorious; the future demands even greater glory, demonstrating the capacity for innovation, mastery of technology, organization of modern warfare, and protection of the Fatherland from early on and from afar.

On this occasion, General Secretary and President To Lam awarded the First Class Order of National Defense to the Artillery and Missile Command, Ministry of National Defense, for its outstanding and exceptional achievements in training, combat readiness, building the People's Army, strengthening national defense, and contributing to the cause of building socialism and protecting the Fatherland.
