The terraced rice fields, planted with seasonal flowers, are ablaze with the vibrant yellow of the Star Jasmine.

The yellow of the flowers and the sunshine blend together to create a beautiful scene in the month of May.

Along with the vibrant golden rice terraces, the picturesque tree-lined roads are also a plus for the Mung village community tourism destination this season. Here, visitors can stroll, take photos, and cycle to enjoy the fresh air.

Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc, the owner of a restaurant in Mung hamlet, said that although community tourism has only developed in the last few years, the locality has already established many services for accommodation, food, entertainment, and photography to serve tourists. On weekends and holidays, many tourists from other localities come to Mung hamlet after visiting the famous orange groves of Cao Phong region.

Although a new tourist destination still in its development phase, Mung hamlet in Cao Phong commune, with its creative, dedicated, and systematic approach, is becoming a vibrant tourist spot attracting a large number of visitors from various localities to come and check in.

A tourist is excitedly checking in amidst the terraced rice fields overflowing with the vibrant yellow of the Star Jasmine flowers. Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc shared: In Mung village, depending on the season, unique flowers such as mustard flowers and upland rice are planted on large areas, causing the scenery here to change continuously throughout the four seasons, creating an attractive destination for tourists.

Currently, Mung hamlet has 5-6 households offering homestay services including food, accommodation, check-in, bicycle rental, and beverage sales. Although newly developed, this location has a well-planned and systematic approach to community tourism.

With 100% of its inhabitants being Muong people, Mung village is located at an altitude of 600m above sea level, so the climate is mild and cool all year round. Tourists liken it to a "miniature Sapa" with its moderate travel on winding slopes and panoramic views of the endless mountain ranges, making it very attractive to visitors.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Phuong, a tourist from Viet Tri, shared that with its advantageous landscape, mild climate, and well-preserved cultural identity, Mung village has the potential to become an attractive destination in the Northwest region if it continues to receive systematic and scientific investment and its local cultural values are well promoted.
This is also a trend in experiential tourism that has become increasingly popular with tourists in recent years in the province, with many well-known destinations such as Lac Village, Xuan Son National Park, etc.
