Recently, People's Artist Tu Long posted photos of artist Xuan Hinh visiting his family and chatting with his mother. Tu Long and his wife, known for their roles in "Social Affairs in the Kitchen Gods," hosted a simple and warm lunch at their home.
These moments sparked enthusiastic comments from MC Quyền Linh, Vân Dung, and many other colleagues.

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , Xuan Hinh said that he came to visit after hearing that artist Tu Long's mother was ill. He and the mother of "Social Affairs God" were former colleagues and have known each other for a long time.
"I'm almost 70 now, and the older I get, the more I cherish the close relationships of the past. Tu Long's mother and I used to work together at the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Troupe, so we knew each other. When I heard she was ill, I went to visit her and encourage her," Xuan Hinh recounted.
Comedian Xuan Hinh added that, although he is a colleague of Tu Long's mother and 11 years younger than the father of the "Social Affairs God," Tu Long still calls him "brother."
"I'm not bothered by this. We're artists, so the way we address each other isn't important. Being called 'brother' makes me feel young forever, and that's fine too. We're from the same hometown and both work in traditional Vietnamese opera, so we have many similarities and respect each other," the male artist confided.

Xuan Hinh shared that even though he's retired, he's never felt idle and is still constantly performing. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, there were years when he participated in up to 200 shows, big and small, and even had to turn down many programs because he was too busy.
Many people say he's "arrogant," but Xuan Hinh says he only accepts programs that he deems suitable.
"The most important thing in comedy is having a natural talent, a God-given talent. This profession is like 'making rice cakes on a sieve,' you can't just do it whenever you want. Besides education, artists also need innate skills. Many people have money but lack talent; they want to learn comedy but can't," Xuan Hinh shared about the profession.

Having retired five years ago, apart from performing, Xuan Hinh spends a lot of time with his family. On his personal page, the artist actively shares his peaceful life. He even personally dug a pond, stocked it with fish, and has often posted photos of himself wading through mud to catch crabs and snails, or planting vegetables and cleaning the house to help his wife.
Considered a "big shot" in the Northern Vietnamese comedy scene, Xuân Hinh possesses a considerable fortune accumulated over many years in the profession, yet he maintains a simple lifestyle. He often appears with a simple, even somewhat unkempt, appearance.
Xuan Hinh doesn't place much importance on food. The comedian's meals are rarely elaborate, just his favorite dishes like pickled vegetables, rice, soup, and vermicelli soup...
The audience also didn't see the male artist riding in a luxurious car, but just an ordinary motorbike like everyone else.

Xuan Hinh shared with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper that material possessions, the superficial luxuries of the art world, or the contrasting roles he plays on stage are all outside the "door of his family." For him, happiness and peace are found in his family home, in the moments spent with his wife and children.
"I prefer staying home with my wife and children to wandering around outside. Occasionally, if I want to have breakfast out, I'll go for chicken pho or vermicelli soup... then come home, I don't linger anywhere. I'm getting older, so I'm quite wary of crowded places," the artist from Bac Ninh confided.
