With the aim of honoring the value of cultural diversity and enhancing people-to-people exchanges, the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi gathered 48 countries and international organizations to participate. The event had 45 national cultural spaces; 34 international culinary booths; 23 domestic and foreign art troupes; 12 units introducing books and publications and 22 countries participating in the international film screening program with many artists such as People's Artist Xuan Bac, People's Artist Tu Long, actress Quynh Nga, MC Thanh Van Hugo...

Many performances interweaving cultural and modern elements are presented in the program.

The World Culture Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, took place from October 10 to 12 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center. This is a journey to honor cultural diversity, humanity and the spirit of global solidarity.
The opening and closing ceremonies brought together famous Vietnamese artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy... and international artists, bringing emotional performances, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity. The combination of cross-art performances and 3D Mapping projections, thereby conveying the message: "Culture is the bridge of humanity, creativity is the common language of the world".

The highlight of the program is the Heritage Footsteps fashion show on the central stage, introducing to the public nearly 100 traditional costumes from various countries with the participation of supermodel Ha Vy, actress Quynh Nga, Quynh Kool, MC Van Hugo, model Vu Hanh Nguyen, musician Giang Son, beauty queen Tran Bao Ngoc...
The art performance Through the Heritage Region was skillfully staged by director Hoang Cong Cuong with a combination of a series of songs imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnamese regions such as Net duyen Kinh Bac, Dem hoa dang, Co ba Sai Gon...

People's Artist Xuan Bac - People's Artist Tu Long contribute to support people in flood-affected areas
The highlight of the program was the auction of the 5 most beautiful costumes of the night and the items were ceramic vases, pearl necklaces, etc. Among them, the large-scale painting entitled Ancient Cheo Dance and Kite Flute Sound on the Golden Field by artist Ngo Ba Hoang, under the enthusiastic bidding guidance of People's Artist Tu Long and People's Artist Xuan Bac, was auctioned for up to 1 billion VND.
The entire auction proceeds of 2.5 billion VND will be transferred to localities affected by floods, to support the reconstruction of houses, schools and civil works. This is not only the most meaningful activity of the program but also demonstrates the humanitarian meaning of the event.
After the program, director Hoang Cong Cuong hopes that through this festival, international audiences will better understand the cultural and historical journey of Vietnam and this will be a tourist destination for them to explore.
