The weather in the Southeast of the province has been sunny in recent days, contractors have taken advantage of bringing in a series of machinery and human resources to construct key traffic projects. The atmosphere at the construction sites is very different from the previous rainy and stormy days. On the Hon Lan - Tan Hai road project, in September, when hearing the construction unit report that the source of construction materials was scarce, causing the project to be interrupted, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee contacted the mineral exploitation units to request support in providing materials so that the project contractor has enough resources to construct. Recently, in mid-November, through the report of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, the construction unit has increased the arrangement of vehicles and human resources, thanks to which, the project has had a positive change. The Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is urging the construction to exceed the planned progress.
In the Tan Minh - Son My key project, this is a very important route in the development strategy of industrial parks and industrial clusters in Son My commune and Tan Minh commune. The route will connect with National Highway 1A - National Highway 55 - Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway. The route has a total length of 23.71 km, the roadbed width is 27 m. On the route, there are 3 newly built bridges: a bridge over the stream in Tan Minh (Tan Duc) with a length of 107.5 m, a bridge over Song Gieng with a length of 82.1 m and a Song Dinh bridge with a length of 82.2 m. The project started on October 4, 2024, and is expected to be completed on September 1, 2027. In the "not urgent" condition of reaching the finish line, contractors often "take their time" in construction. However, to ensure the province's disbursement progress, through the encouragement of Vice Chairman Nguyen Hong Hai during the site inspection in early October, the construction unit has been flexible in "working on the site as soon as it is available". Currently, the construction unit is ahead of schedule.
The road project from the center of Ham Thuan commune to National Highway 1A, connecting with National Highway 28 and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is expected to be completed ahead of schedule. At the construction site, dozens of vehicles are rushing to dump materials and asphalt the road. The project is 4.4 km long, the roadbed is 33 m wide, the road surface is 18 m wide. According to the contract, the road will be constructed for 730 days, starting from December 6, 2024 - December 5, 2026. Through regular inspections by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh, the joint venture contractors have "wound up their spirits" and supported each other to implement the province's direction. Therefore, the construction units have exceeded the schedule, and it is expected to complete the project several months ahead of schedule.

In the remote area of Suoi Kiet commune, the project to upgrade and expand Ba Ta - Tra Tan road is expected by the people to be a "opening" route for industrial development. Because Tra Tan commune is a bright spot with many industrial clusters "doing well", while on the Suoi Kiet side, the industry has not developed commensurate with its potential. The road connecting Tra Tan - Suoi Kiet will contribute to trade, helping Suoi Kiet have more conditions to accelerate industrial economic development... The project has a route length of 15.1 km, roadbed width of 7.5 m, road surface width of 6.5 m. The project has a total investment of 102,165 billion VND. The project started on January 11, 2024, expected to be completed by the end of 2025. To date, the project has completed nearly 100% of the contract volume. It is expected that the road will be completed ahead of schedule according to the contract.
These are four of many transport projects under construction that have met or exceeded the schedule, contributing to the disbursement of public investment capital of the province as planned. In the coming days, the Southeast region of the province may experience heavy rain, but with the above progress, it will not affect the disbursement much.
