Big fire at Hanoi Beer Factory

Authorities are investigating a fire at the Hanoi Beer Factory on Hoang Hoa Tham Street. A column of black smoke from the fire rose dozens of meters high.

On the morning of December 1, Mr. Luong Xuan Duong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngoc Ha Ward, Hanoi City, said that on the same morning, a big fire broke out at the Habeco Hanoi Beer Factory on Hoang Hoa Tham Street.

At the scene at the time of the fire, the fire was fierce and thick black smoke rose dozens of meters high, causing many people living near the brewery to worry.

After receiving the news, the authorities sent officers to the scene, coordinated with the ward police and fire police to put out the fire and search and rescue.

"At around 8:15 a.m. the same day, the fire was brought under control and did not cause any human casualties. The fire occurred inside the brewery. The cause of the fire is being investigated," said Mr. Duong.
